Here in kangaroo land, the alcohol taxes mean that our local bottle shops sell a 'wine' called Little Fat Lamb, which has a similar reputation as Four Loko. Namely, being cheap, high ABV, and tasting like soft drink and bad choices.

Wait, isn't it a cider? At least, that's what the original 'flavour' was: hard apple cider.   
Then I think they went almost bankrupt (there was a glorious time where my friends and I would stock up on the stuff for a ridiculously cheap price from the local grocery disposals store, something like... 3 bottles for $12 or thereabouts), changed their packaging (twice, the first change was tacky as hell but the current one's alright) and started pumping out a whole heap of new, weird and wonderful varieties of it - starting with the fairly reasonable pear and ending up with everything from ginger to friggin' blueberry flavours.   

Still pretty dang cheap, though, and a favourite among those in the know, even if the original, hard cider is ridiculously hard to find these days, compared to all the whacky flavours they've since come up with.

Check the packaging (yes, I'm admitting to buying it). It's listed as a wine on the label, even though it's sold in plastic soft drink bottles. Thus, bypassing the bloody ridiculous taxes us aussies pay for beer, cider, spirits and pre-mix.

That's pretty awesome, that they've found a loophole. Those taxes are evil.   
Although wasn't the gub'mint threatening to raise the taxes on wine a while back? I think all those "commit mass suicide on the lawn of parliament house if they go through with this horrible idea" events on social media may have scared them off.

You also gotta remember, wineries are big business, especially for the landed wealthy. Australian wine exports make a lot of cash for some very powerful people, far more than beer or spirits. Wine is a 'luxury item' with the attendant profit margins to match.

If the government increased taxes on them, they'd be stepping on some very wealthy toes in the process.

Went out for drinks yesterday with a couple friends to celebrate the one's new back tattoo.

They were both busy sexting people for most of the meetup and left after a little while.


So I stayed, got drunk, and made a new friend!

Party total, just me: 4 rum'n'cokes, 5 iced coffee rums (kraken dark roast), 6 jello shots, 3 mimosas, 4 "jolly ranchers" (my signature mixed drink cocktail,) and a mikes hard lemonade.

Turns out that I shouldn't drink quite that much. Anyone know how to get your voice back?

I jolted awake this morning around 4AM and nothing seems real since then.  It's all dream-like.  Around noon I was so desperate for a nap that I "self-medicated", but it didn't actually work.  I'm so, so tired.

How do people nap

I am happy for them but obviously resent it.  I am not a bad person.  I have improved many lives, and they have often thanked me! and yet it never sticks in my mind, does it. 

It's like I have some original sin that can never be filled.  No wonder I wax religious so often.

I'm currently in a situation that sucks, but even now I'm waiting it out because I am a mature person who actually cares.  I'm doing my time.  I am truly sorry, and I'm doing my best to make it right no matter how much it hurts.
Oh good my housemate's home and doing a Chinese impersonation.
So.  Tired.

I haven't posted here in a while, have I?  It's like I have self control, and am only posting this as a message.  I am not a bad person, and I will wait for as long as needed.
