There's also a minimum age rating, though it's somewhat flexible, and the player base tends to rapidly diminish in older age groups.

Personally, I'm not a fan. Two-player mode is just... unpleasant.

The only corn I particularly like is the popped kind. Though I guess it goes alright in a burrito, too. Also I remember that one Goosebumps book with the scarecrows and its lurid descriptions of corn crops.


In other news: I pilfered so many half-empty beers last night. Hooray for thriftiness! Turns out beer salvaging gets a lot easier once you hit your stride and get into a rhythm.
Also I stayed far longer than necessary at the bar (I don't know why, to be honest) and wound up hanging out with an entertaining variety of oddballs and lunatics.
I'm sure there was much to be learned from the various interesting conversations I had, but I've forgotten most all of it so whatever.


Edit: got one of those sneaky, slow-onset hangovers that keep creeping up on you. Time to cook pasta and listen to Space Bong I guess.
Feeling a tad nauseous and not really in the mood to eat, but I'm sure I'll feel better once I do.

Instead of cornfields, we have canefields, especially up north. Sugarcane as far as the eye can see. Plus the toads to go with it.

Tempted to buy one of me m8s a 50 year old gin for their birthday but... Besides the meme factor of drinking history, I'm wondering if I'd be better off just using that cash to buy them many bottles of top notch gin instead. Ancient gin probably tastes worse than modern gin, and I don't have enough money to indulge in drinking history, unless it's scotch. Suppose they could keep the gin on their shelf or something, but why buy gin you won't drink? Unless I save up for three of their birthdays and buy them a pre-war gin, now that you could keep on the shelf.

Got stuff done nice and quickly this morning and managed to start drinking before midday!
