As most, I can play easily on sundays, and could be available for evenings on thursdays (cause work).

Well, that's interesting. I read some of the core rulebook, but not the whole, and I never played, but well, gotta be the first time then. GMT+1, Saturdays or Sundays.

Right, here's the basic idea for the chronicle.

On June 7th, 1969, several armored cars full of company pay envelopes transported was robbed in East London almost simultaneously by the same band of robbers.  It was the largest payoff of any heist in Britain's history: 16.9 million pounds, adjusted for inflation. The crew involved managed to get the money converted into gold bars, which the leader of the crew stashed in a location only known to himself. When the heat died down, they'd sell the gold bars and make a mint. Problem was, the crew ended up killing each other for the gold, including the fella who knew where the gold was. So now no-one knows where the gold is.

Until 44 years later.

Through various means and methods, someone's discovered where the gold was stashed. Down in the subbasement of an old mansion formerly owned by the leader of the heist. Now it's owned by a private company who have upped the security by a hundredfold. Of course, robbers can get past security. The problem is, every two-bit criminal is going to want that sweet 16.9 million pounds worth of gold in their pockets.

The reward's big, but so are the stakes. It's going to take a team of damn fine robbers to rob the place. Of course, it just so happens that this is precisely what you have

I've also set up the IRC channel. You can use this to discuss with me in realtime what characters are acceptable. It's on the server Sorcery,o on the channel #bay12wod. You can join using this if you're not used to IRC. Note, depending on how the vote goes (It's currently neck and neck at time of speaking), we may or may not use IRC for the actual game part.

Well gold was only $40 an ounce back then, the 16.9 million dollars back then would be 26 thousand pounds of gold then put back into today's money would be nearly $700 million by 2013's $1600 an ounce exchange rate, assuming my math's all correct!

Status, actually. Intimidation is for threatening people in submission, Persuasion for cutting deals. High enough Status is what allows you to give commands within the confines of the organization, and you would only need either of the above to make them do something your rank does not give you authority to order.
