Just a few days ago this ambitious project went out on Kickstarter and it's gathering quite a large following.
The game is by a relatively new team called "Warhorse Studios" numbering 35 members within it's ranks :P.
the game apparently will combine the realistic combat system of M&B and Dark souls with a large portion of open worldiness that's drawn from Skyrim.

I have no doubt they'll meet their goal and am looking forward for updates.

Looks interesting, quite ambitious though. It looks like they've got a decently experienced team, which is more than most ambitious Kickstarter games can say. I for one will watch this closely, the world needs more non-fantasy RPG's. Also more non-Bethesda "RPG's". I hated Skyrim, and it looks like this will serve as a good replacement (if it comes to fruition of course) and I love the medieval setting, so hopefully it turns out well. That said, I'm still extremely skeptical about Kickstarter, and most likely won't support this.

Also, that tagline is fucking awesome. "Dungeons and no Dragons". Hell yes.

Just to let everyone know though that this isn't for complete funding, they are using this to gauge interest into the game to grant more funding from their private investor.

Insta-back with the knowledge this is for ACT1 only. They're trying to replicate the method used to fund Star Citizens.

This game sounds like it is promising a little too much. Reminds me of Fable, the Fable that was promised and the Fable that was delivered were two totally different beasts.

Still this looks pretty neat, even if all of the features didn't make it looks like it could be pretty fun.

Yeah, and keep in mind, these guys worked on Mafia II. AKA: Cut Content: The Game. Don't get me wrong, I actually like Mafia II, but the product and the promise were quite different.

I'd say it's less Dark Skyrims and more Mount and Blade's big brother.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

The early combat they showed made me think of QTEs, so I'll at least hold off until they show off the combat system a little better.

BUT alot of cuts are generally due to Publishers or such making it impossible to compleate a goal or fully create the intended part happen...

My god this looks great I backed around the 80k mark now they are over 250k crazy

http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/1294225970/kingdom-come-deliverance/

Putting it at 1300% funded but it always slows down this is the mad rush at the beginning

and great prices on tiers for beta, alpha etc

Looks interesting, but I have too many games on my plate as it is. Since this is certainly going to be funded, I think I'll wait until it is released to decide if I want to get it or not.

The last game I backed like this was Takedown, which has been nothing but disappointment so far.
There are a lot of things about this project that make me think it's going to be a lot less than I want it to be.

That said, I might actually back at the alpha level. Then, even if it's bad, I can better romanticize over what the game might have been.

Also, it's kind of dickish that acts II and III aren't included with the basic levels, but I suppose they're allowed to make a profit.

It seems the game is moments away from the funding goal
i might just consider opting up to act 2

Am i the only one who realised that the fight seem to be quick time event? I mean in the trailer at the end, something flashed on the screen and i investigated... Press blabla for perrfect block... It was too quick to appear and disapear for it to be the tutorial or something like that, evefruckting else was marvelous and had me hyped up bad.. till i saw the tooltips thingy, now im a bit scared to be honest.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?
