No, it works without an account. Even the linking to results thing. Took me a bit to figure it out too.

If you read the print, they only use it to keep the tests callibrated (unique IDs for people taking the tests many times, to avoid contaminating the dataset with repeats), to keep testing results seperate, and to optionally allow you to be informed if more tests are available.

You can put totally fictitious name and email in. There isn't a verification step.

I did it without email or name, worked fine. Just allow it to save the results and start.

That's nice to know. I put in garbage, so it doesn't matter.

I..err, did that. It redirects me to what seems to be the start which needs a single click..but upon clicking redirects me to the details despite me filling in everything...except what is in the box (ie personal info)

Ok, I think I filled in age, gender and "not diagnosed", but nothing else. It seems like I cant go back to that page because I already took the test...

EDIT:
Apparently I was "logged in anonymously", after logging out I can go back to the details page. I did fill out everything except the user name/email password thing.

Yeah.

Age, gender, (multichoice 3 button for your status), "I understand that my results can go into a research paper", and then skip to the bottom and click the link.

Bizarre!

Maybe the browser session is borked? Close and open again? Open it in a different tab?

Got a really high score, then again I'm not sure if I interpreted some of the questions correctly. I'm already diagnosed with Aspergers so those few uncertain ones, I understand what they're getting at and know I have difficulties in those areas, but the way they phrased them didn't quite fit. I might have given slightly more positives than I should since I rather answered what I interpreted as the point of the question than the actual literal interpretation.

As for whether to get a diagnosis or not, the way I see it what matters most is if you have notable issues that seem related to autism in some way that you want some kind of professional help with, including learning to understand yourself better if that's one of the issues. This of course also requires there to be actual professional help to recieve in some way in your area, which isn't always the case :>

Here's mine. Never really considered/diagnosed myself ASD, though I have considered the possibility due to my awkwardness and unusual interests/obsessions. Some of the questions were difficult to answer due to doing them regularly but only occasionally, and having no "sometimes" option.

Got the same 27.0 for the empathy test too! I guess I'm not that empathetic, just caring.
