We have a hat that is both purple and silk. Damn, that thing's fit for an emperor. We're lucky nobody's confiscated it from us.

Find easiest way to leave house in opposite direction of zombie apocalypse, using pimp cane to strike intervening zombies in the head.

This seems like a good idea. +1.

Also, CHECK INVENTORY.

"Can you please tone down your death screams!? Some of us have work in the morning!" well, hopefully that settles it.

((Damnit, I didn't want this to dissolve into shenanigans, but shenanigans it has become.))
((Silly Whitius, shenanigans is the natural state of bay12. Trying to deny us shenanigans is like trying to deny us the screams of the innocent. Or taking away our puppy pies. WE JUST WON'T STAND FOR IT!))

INVENTORY
(1) 3m length folded fabric (1.5) kg
(1) 3'6" hardwood cane (.75) kg
(1) Rough Tunic (1) kg
(2) Sandals (.5) kg
(1) Silk Headress (.25) kg

You attempt to vacate your house, but trip on your door as you break through. You stumble, and the carnivorous humans to your left see you, and begin heading your way. Your start running in the other direction. Do you have a specific location in mind?

Look for Guard Barracks or something, hopefully get people who can do something about the zombies... if not atleast there has to be weapons and armor there... because as much as I like pimpslapping zombies as the next guy, it's not gonna be very effective.

((Hm... our cane feels like some awesome mage staff, I wonder if we can learn Pimp Magic?))

> SPECIFIC BUILDING SEARCH [6]
You attempt to search for the Barracks in the city, but it seems really hard to find, since you never really had a need of it before. After traipsing through several blocks, the carnivorous humans behind not catching up nor losing you, you find an old armory. The door is broken open, so it seems to be looted already, but there might still be something inside.

> SEARCH OF ARMORY [7]
You glance back at your fan group [8] you have roughly 30 mins to search.
Ducking back inside, you check on what's been left behind:

A four foot long by three foot wide, square reed shield, about 3 inches thick and reinforced with wood. Hmm, won't stop more than one, but still better than nothing. What else.
Ah, a sword! A decent saber, roughly 2 and a half feet long, slightly curved and sharpened on the outer edge. It has no pommel, though, so you may need to fix that later.
Last but not least is a bow, a short recurve bow commonly used by the guards. It doesn't have a string, but I'm sure you could fix that. You also find (24) good bamboo arrows, with barbed bronze heads.

Go with the sword, a stringless bow is useless, not to mention concerns of ammo and that only a headshot helps.
Sword is more versatile.

Sword is more versatile.

Take both. leave the shield. We can restring the bow later, and It can help in the future. The sword is better for the now.
