2. I was under the impression that "we settled down and now have to worry about food because we can't hunt anymore" in the first update meant "we used to kill things and nom on them". As far as I remember most starting civilizations were hunter/gatherers at the beginning. Regardless...

1. We don't? Huh.

3. I just can't see a stream feeding into a large, not-lake body of water that's simultaneously shallow enough to cross via stepping stones and yet robust enough to support 800 people.
...
Then again the river does take, what, half an hour to cross? I'm not really sure on the scale.

The blue squares are about 1.5 miles across (estimated). However, it is unknown how much of that space is taken up by the stream, river, or whatever.

It's also a bit vague how large the "stepping stones" are. Or what, exactly, they are. Or the depth of the lake. Heck, we aren't even sure if the lake is freshwater, brackish, salty, or hypersaline. Likely towards the beginning of the progression, but we don't know.

Doesn't really matter, appearantly we can cross rivers without the need for bridges. I think the darker water is brackish/salt, and the lighter is fresh.

So I guess "Have someone taste the lakewater" is a requirement.

Though considering the village has been around for 100 years the water is probably fresh.

I don't follow. Cities much larger have existed for much longer on salty lakes, most notably that little pond called "the ocean".

I'm just assuming that the River water is fresh. Also, by the dynamics of this game, I don't think it matters too much anyway :P.

Unless someone wants to take the reins in the form of godly ascension.

I might try this as interim GM. Seems simple enough. Can't guarantee permanence though.

Requesting a simple list with this turns orders though.
