The military took ten normal citizens to try and make supersoldiers. The first 8 died. You, however, are special. You came back to life. The corpse was long off base before you reanimated. Some lazy soldier decided just to dump your body in an alleyway in some small town. This is where the plague began. What is/was your name? What age were you when you died? What gender are you?
So, based off of You are Patient Zero. Please don't sue me, kthx. This has less plot, and is more zombies.

So there's a good chance this will be a lot of senseless violence. Going that route, being someone called Rasputin with some diabolical facial hair just feels right.

It could be a perfectly natural side effect of the experiment, or a fact of the woman's life. It's not like bearded women are impossible, after all.
