Urest Mcdwarf, miller, berserker?
« on: January 18, 2014, 11:12:39 pm »

brand new fort and my first migrant wave contained a dwarf that was a berserker.  he was not insane as far as
I could tell however he killed my entire military with his bare hands and they were all armed. he single handedly wiped my entire population.  anyone seen this before?

did you retire a fort with berserking dwarves? because old fort dwarves will migrate to your new forts with the same composure as you left them be it melancholy or berserk

Or on fire.

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

I think it is a cursed dwarf. Ive had them show up in migration waves a time or two and they wreck some serious havoc. My fort ended up in a similar state as yours at the end of it all.

If you abandoned a big fort in a major tantrum spiral and embark close to it then its extremely likely that one of those dwarves from you previous fort has come and are still suffering from whatever they went through earlier. Somewhat like mentioned earlier.

My fortress was the first fortress of the world  so it had to have been a cursed dwarf.  thanks for the feed back.

also my dwarf wasn't going berserk, his professional title was berserker.

Its indeed a curse by the gods, or the berserker-secret from a slab. You can find them as adventurer. You just anti-lucked out with your migrant.
