You help 0031 to his feet. He's still a bit dizzy so you leave him to regain his senses.
You open the door to the hallway again. The turret is still where you left it, and it still has you on hold. You glance in either direction.
The corridor is about 20 meters long, made of some neat, shiny, egg white alloy. If you were to turn left your journey would quickly be ended by a solid wall, though in the other direction there is a door, much like the one that leads to the closet, made from the same clean white alloy as the corridor. There is one other doorway, immediately across from you. This one however is painted an intimidating shade of black, with a blood red vertical stripe running down it, slightly off center, about 10 centimeters wide. There are no other markings or indicators anywhere to be seen in the corridor.
You go back into the closet. Again, the only things inside the room are the bucket, now lying overturned on the ground, the slightly deformed cardboard box, with a fresh tear in the side about the size of a boot, the scattered foodstuffs from the rations and the empty metal tins themselves, and the TV monitor, currently lying facedown on the ground. 0031 is standing in the corner, still recovering from his fall. The only things the two of you have with you are your plastic coated playing cards. You're both wearing your black beam-proof vests over your dull grey S-4 Guard uniforms.
