The thing in plastic comes free with a POOM just as you're prepared to abandon it, the styrofoam thingies still stuck to it. You run back into the room with the elevator in it, ducking under the containment wall, which has all the while still been slowly rising, and over to 0031.

He blinks. What's wrong?

"Just got this bad feeling, let's head over to the elevator and check this out."

He grows pale. W-whassa matter?? What'd you find in there dood?!! The two of you edge over to the elevator.

You remove the styrofoam thingies and unwrap the thing from the plastic. Two small chips clatter to the floor as you pull the thing out. 0031 collects them as you examine the object.

Its a Hand Laser! The weapon is a small rodlike object made from rubber and blue plastic that is gripped for your right hand. It fits perfectly into your palm, and when you thumb a toggle near the trigger it unfolds, warming up the weapon and revealing an energy readout. The weapon is at full charge. 0031 hands you the chips. Ammo. You load it here. He's the one who always paid attention in weapons training and he shows you a slot in the base of the handle. Only load it when you're completely out, otherwise.. He makes a fist and then opens it. Pow!

The two of you head back into the containment chamber. Nothing has changed. The containment wall finally finishes opening and stops moving with a loud *CLANG*

This, and then head up to our floor. Somethin' prolly happened up there.

0031 helps you open another crate. Its filled with tiny green plastic cases that rattle as you open the crate. They're slightly transparent and you can see a tiny pea-shaped thing inside each one. The boxes could fit in the palm of your hand and there's hundreds of them stacked neatly inside the crate. They each have a plain white "lvl" stenciled on the front.

There are 12 boxes in the room.
The first three boxes had already been opened when you got there.
The first box, the one that has been overturned, contains.. Chapsticks. Hundreds of them. They're spilled across the floor and you have to walk around them to get from one end to the other. You haven't opened one.
The second had the hand laser and energy chips in it wrapped in plastic and styrofoam. It is now empty.
When you glanced into it, the third was completely empty.
The fourth is filled with tiny green plastic boxes with pea-shaped things inside that rattle around.
The rest are intact.

The TV is still between the floor and the raised containment wall.
