The vehicle revs to life and idles at a comfortable hum.
Head towards the smoke/sound you spotted earlier, but try to keep some cover when you aproach so you're not spotted first. Enjoy the scenery.

Lift glasses above eyes. Lower back over them. Repeat. Glance around as you do so. See if anything changes. Night vision? X-Rays? Stereoscopic? Telescopic? Infrared? 3D?~

You drive towards the smoke, hoping you won't be detected by its source. While you drive you try to take in the wonderful scenery scenery while slipping the busted glasses on and off. In addition to turning the world a weird pinkish color, you notice that you can notice minute details better, you can drive a little straighter and you recon you could shoot more accurately with these things on. Relishing your new discovery you continue to soak in the scenery: rocks, sand, and cacti.

As you drive towards the smoke you spot a small scuffle unfold in front of you.  There appears to be about 7 combatants, though 1 appears to be just standing there. You can't discern who's fighting who. And at the speed your going you doubt anyone could chase you on foot if you just drove by.

Also, for those of you who are interested here is what our vehicle looks like

Can we hear any gunfire? Or is it a fistfight?

Unload gun, check if it works properly, reload and place someplace convenient where it's fast to pull out (like between your ribs). Drive by the bystander, slip your glasses off and ask who's winning and does he want to bet on it. Keep the engine running.

If it's a gunfight we should just keep going.

You fire your gun into the air to test that it works.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* BANG* BANG* It works great! Too bad, the fight up front was an all melee one and the combat seems to have stopped. From this distance you can make out a few shapes. They all look humanoid, and judging from their poses they seemed to have stopped they're fighting and are looking dead in your direction for a brief moment. One breaks off from the group and is running towards you, waving their arms and yelling.

You reload and store the gun in your ribcage for easy access.

Wait, why did we do that? Was that a roll or something?

Did I misinterpret unload the gun to see if it works? I thought he wanted to see if it works by firing it.

Also, can we have an inventory?

Currently you have:
1 Handgun with RQ engraved on it
3 full magazines, 2 if you want to keep that last action
Busted Shades
1 Warcry 01
1 strange bird figurine

Yes, yes you did. And no, no I didn't. Though it does sound like something I would say...
I meant what GUNRUNIN said.

Are we gonna keep this last action? On the one hand we wasted whole clip there, but on the other hand it looks like we got their attention, and we don't have to deal with a mob (one person can act smartly, mob never).

Let's not waste the whole clip. We can get their attention some other way.

Like a single, well-placed shot into the head of the toughest-looking combatant.
