It still hurts, though (which is normal, I guess).

Yep. But that's just your ego for the most part. What's best is if you don't you mope in her presence. Be happy and cheerful when and if you deal with her, or happy to see her instead of feeling miserable. I mean, shoot for that as a general state of being anyways. But be extra mindful of it when you're around her. She's aware of you now so she's paying attention to how you act.

And there's plenty of other fishes in the sea, as they say. Funny that seems like a saying for fishermen alone on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no women.

Anyways, for what it's worth, I've never seen the women that I've dated coming until they were right in front of me, asking me out. Sometimes the crush you're fixated on isn't really the one you should try to date. The girl you're interested in really did give you solid advice whether it feels like it or not. She doesn't really know you, and in truth, you don't really know her. Ask yourself if you like her just because you think she's pretty or because you want romance....or is it because you actually like who she is.

Because man, women can be complicated when you actually get to know them, at least to the average male. That's why it's best to get to know them before you commit to feeling bad over them. ;)

Its kinda silly to complain that a friendly NPC isn't a well designed boss fight.
