Is NEF1 currently too hard? // Should future NEFs be easier than FEFs?

A) Yes, it's too hard and it's putting me off.
B) It's allright as it is.
C) Harder~
1) Considering they're shorter and have smaller cast - yes.
2) I don't see a reason why.

I'd be willing to be in the next Noble Emblem but I don't know if I qualify as a vet yet.

Same here. Pretty sure that I'm not a vet though.

I would probably say you two aren't. Swordstar's been in three but two of them haven't run very long yet and USEC has only been in this and Gates of Rundum as far as I know. I could be wrong, but I'd say you two ought to be allowed in. *shrug*

The outcome is obvious - you guys win and Coleen gets rezzed in the last moment :P

I don't see the game progressing in any other way, at least.

@USEC/Swordstar: Sure. USEC can use the current sheet if he wants, too.

As for a 'vet' I was thinking more like Xanmyral/Crimson/SerCon/Sirus... Basically someone from the very first FEF, who has much bloodshed and number-crunching and miracle vulnerary dances on their belts.

Well, technically I've only been in two and have been signed up for a third, but yeah, I get your point.

Also yay, time to try out new classes. Lets see, I have myrm, troub, dancer... clearly it's time to do either some heavy duty thing or a pure mage. WE WILL SEE!

That mean I'm a vet. Yay. I think.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Yeah, 'vet' also means 'in the first FEF' to me too. :P That being said, because I'm a bastard, if you can't find anyone else who wants the vet slot I'll take it. But consider me a last resort for now, since I want to let other people have a chance too.

@Swordstar: Oh, right. You aren't in GoR yet. My mistake. ^^^;

Eh, I'd probably make up a new sheet just because, honestly.

SC: well, yeah, but soon! And I've also been in various other RPs on other forums, so I have a decent idea of strategy but, yeah.

Hmm... maybe I can make a thief. Or a nomad. Or a mage. TOO MANY CHOICES!

I call that Elder Scrolls Syndrome myself. I've only beaten Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim once apiece because I keep going 'well what if I used this set-up instead'. :X If you want my advice, a thief is always useful. Pick a Scav and you can pick locks, steal gold, and use swords and dark magic. It's a pretty good utility character, able to fill three roles decently. Hell, get a PS that gives you +5 to healing with Vulns and you can technically sub for a priest in a pinch as well.

Well yes, thieves are useful, but so are horse riders like nomads. And magic users! Aaaaand, I'll probably just wait to see what other people are making. :P

That still beats me.  I don't believe I've ever even started the Morrowind main quest beyond dropping off the package, and the furthest I ever got in Skyrim was visiting the Greybeards for the first time (never even started the Civil War).  I simply cannot stick with a single character to save my life.

To be fair, I had to go the 'quick' way of beating Morrowind (ie killing a certain NPC and taking his shit to bypass a lot of quests to get the thing in a better form. I dunno why I'm avoiding spoilers considering how old Morrowind is but whatever) because it's fairly long. :P

I'm a vet? Huzzah! :v
Probably won't sign up for the next NE though, since I'm in the same boat (and many of the same games) as SC and Blade. Will see what my schedule is like when NE2 comes around.

I'm not in the same boat as you and Blade. :P I'm perfectly able and willing to jump in NE2. I just don't want to deny someone else a spot. If it comes to it and Haspen needs another person to fill out the roster I'll go for it, but y'know. :P
