Sheesh, hope you get better, man. That doesn't sound very fun at all. Best of luck to you.
Yeah that sounds rough hope you get better soon
The doctor says I'm on the mend, just in time for Uni to start too. Golden Staph is a hell of a thing.

You tighten a few makeshift bandages and leave him in the care of his companions.

((According to Wikitionary, 'laway' means saliva. I'm just gonna assume you meant hallway.))

You rudely shove the German aside and rush to find the message.

The sword-wielder shoves you out of the way and you stride after him.

You stagger after the pack of weirdos.

With a faint idea that you may be missing vital information, you look for things you can manipulate. With a bit of luck, you might be able to release the lock on the vent with your hat, but it would be touch and go and you run the risk of dropping and losing it. Far easier to reach a small toolbox on a shelf below you. It wouldn't fit through the vent, but you would be able to ransack it and pull individual items through.

Spoiler: VinneTheDead (click to show/hide)
You are the last to reach the 'message room' and as you do so Heinrik activates the recording.

On a screen above you an old man appears. He has a large mustache and is missing one of his eyes. He squints at the camera for a moment before launching into his 'speech'.
"Greetings to Misters Kingston, Strider, Wilhelm, Jackson and... the brute, whatever his name is. Also welcome to Missus Frankowitz. If my instructions have been followed those named are both here and unaware of why they are here."
The screen changes to depict a photo of a colossal flesh-pink beast. Those of you that saw recognise it as the beast that was present on that final day.
"This is why you are here. It goes by the name of Emperor Kirby and it's coming has been prophecied for countless millenia. First, you must know that your old world is lost. Kirby will assimalate all matter there and will either consume or subjagate the people. Give up hope for them. The Grand Feast is coming and I believe that you six have a chance of preventing it. You are all Singular; beings with no counterparts across the multiverse. That makes you both extremely rare and extremely useful. You can fit into the 'rules' of each world as though you are a native, yet there is no risk of you 'integrating' with your counterparts. Sadly, being Singular seems to be nonconductive to charm and diplomacy. No matter, we will have to work with what we have. If you have not killed the Strangers that brought you here they will surely be of some use to you, though they cannot leave this craft lest they risk Integration. This craft is capable of shifting across the multiverse, though only a few, mapped worlds currently have coordinates loaded. It should be simple to find more coordinates later, but for now the ones you have will have to suffice. Please refer questions to the Captain, one Harks Ridgeson. He should be somewhere aft of this chamber. Good luck."
With that the screen cuts out, leaving you to this new knowledge.

Mark gets moving and looks through the controls trying to see what other worlds there

Heinrik slowly turns after the message is played, looking at his comrades. He then spies the man who shoved him. He grins slowly then quickly grabs him and slams him against the wall.

"Listen here, 'friend'. I don't know who you are. I barely know why I'm here. But let's get one thing straight. If you fuck with me at all, I will kill you. This is not a threat, but a promise. Do not get on my bad side again, ok?"
He holds the man against the wall for a moment, before stepping back and letting the man go.

((^above mentioned character is darkpaladin's. Heinrik doesn't know his name yet, so he's just 'guy'))

Look through the toolkit, what all is there?
(I'd like for at least a claw hammer and some wire cutters/pliers. Maybe tape if I'm super lucky. Or a friggin' nail gun, but I doubt you'd keep that in a toolbox.)
