We Madmen are very ingenious.  Sometimes it just takes just a little less sanity to pull off something completely awesome.

Cromwell tried not to think about the burning building. The flames, they just... too much. He didn't like it.
He paid the driver and thanked him, and grabbed his stuff and started heading to the door of the massive building, trying to remember the room number Molly lived in. He knew it was the 7th floor, but the room..
The flames re-entered his mind, and kept him from thinking.
Room 74-
Room 741. That was it.
He pushed the thought of them out of his mind.

Oh look, I have a steam account.
Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Big wakes up with a look of absolutely childlike confusion, but offers his huge hand to the man to help him up and lead him off.

Spoiler: killerhellhound (click to show/hide)
A tall nondescript man in a grey coat stands in the doorway.
"MARK KINGSTON. MAY I COME IN?"

The drawing is quite detailed and you can identify multiple sections of the brain. You close your eyes for a moment and lean back. Opening your eyes again you find the picture of a brain gone and a strange symbol in it's place. A voice sounds from behind you.
THE HUMAN BRAIN IS QUITE AN INTERESTING SUBJECT, IS IT NOT?

Spoiler: mastahcheese (click to show/hide)
You knock on the door but get no response.

Spoiler: VinnieTheDead (click to show/hide)
The man proves capable of lifting you to your feet and walk off briskly while you follow. He leads you to a warehouse and heads inside. As you are about to cross the threshold a pulse of dread courses through you and you look up to the sky. Streaks of red are coursing through the clouds and shaking off a sense of doom you scurry inside before the rain starts falling.

Mark replied "Sure..." felling a bit uneasy of the stranger he headed back into the house where he motioned to his table and took a seat himself, "How may I help you?" he asked. He may be a stranger but Mark didn't want to scare off a potential customer.

Big quickly shakes off his drowsy demeanor and peaks his brows slightly as he looks up at the sky, questioning the nice man leading him along.
"Whoss' happenin', missa?"

Cromwell puts his eye up to the viewing hole to try to see in, and knocked again.
"Pizza delivery!"

Following you and sitting down smartly with his hands crossed the man offers you a bland smile that sets your teeth on edge.
"I REPRESENT A SMALL GROUP THAT IS... INTERESTED IN THE WORK YOU AND A SELECT FEW OTHERS CAN DO FOR US. THOUGH THE TASK IS... DIFFICULT, THE REWARDS WOULD BE GREAT."

Spoiler: Harry Baldman (click to show/hide)
A grey-coated man stands before you with a smirk on his face.
"IN THE FUTURE MAKE SURE YOU LOCK THE SKYLIGHT."

Spoiler: mastahcheese (click to show/hide)
No sounds come from within save the slow drip-dripping of some spilled liquid.

Spoiler: VinneTheDead (click to show/hide)
"A LOT OF THINGS MY MUSCLEBOUND FRIEND, A LOT OF VERY IMPORTANT THINGS. NEVERMIND THAT FOR NOW, DO COME IN."

((Waiting for WhitiusOpus and darkpaladin109 to get to work...))

((P.S. What do you all think of the Strangers? They do in fact play a semi-important role in the story and therefore won't just die off like *that*. Oh, and if you have ever played Fallout (3 in particular) you might remember him/them. Just take a look at the title of this turn and the last for an extra hint. Oh and I've decided that the Falloutverse is going to be a secondary/tertiary world that you can earn access to. Knowing you lot you'll probably try to tame Deathclaws and teach Super Mutants about the 'joys' of socialism and bronyism.))

Okay... that is a very good thing to remember, Millie thought. She will take the lesson to heart.

Make a run for it. Escape through the apartment door.
