Long Live the Queen!
« on: January 15, 2014, 08:07:43 am »

This is thread about Long Live the Queen, a princess making-sim that tries to murder your underage protege in many creative ways almost every week of the game.

Talk about your (mis)adventures and spoilers and what not.

Or pretty much any week.

Come now, killing her in like Week 1 or 2 requires REAL effort! I'm not actually sure if its possible.

First posible death is in week 16 (The parade) And is really rare anyway.

In general, the gam has two parts. The first half is the preparation part, with non letal challenges (Conversation, economy, intrigue, presence and divination are useful here) And the second half, which is super lethal, especially if you screwed the first half. (Weapons, reflex, strategy
an magic are useful here).

Also, we are totally going to die in week 28. If we survive, in week 32.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.

Demo version runs until Week 10, so you don't technically have to buy it to try and kill her on Week 1.

Pff.. Just imprison the Lumen when she comes and then die to the snake attack. That is waaay before the parade being week 1

I'm reasonably confident that this still takes 3 weeks, and doesn't actually work.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

No, it's possible to die as early as week 7 if you imprison Julienna and make her angry enough.

2x training of any combination of reflexes of archery should be enough to survive the bandit attack.

...yeah, probably. That one's difficult to avoid on accident. It was my first death too.

Or you can assemble more guards due to assasin treat - that will increase the carriage protection and the game will auto Elodie through the attack with just minor mood drop.

I've beaten this twice now. First win was with the Angel of Music (I knew the combination to get as I failed the public speaking check, which was the last one I needed.) Latest win was by sinking the fleet with 3 Lumens and freezing the Kraken.
