A. Engage him in polite conversation while attempting to steal the keys.

You talk to the manager about the process going on below, and about the accident. After a few minutes you slip the keyring off his belt and into your pocket. You politely disengage from the conversation, and walk back to the exterior basement entrance. You try a few keys and find the correct one to open the door. You descend.

The room is dark and moist. It smells strange and foul. Your feet sink into the spongy floor as you walk further into the darkness. In the scant light provided by the open door, you can see a table surrounded by shoulder-height poles. There are several bins scattered around the basement.

A. Search the bins for evidence.
B. Quickly leave the room and lock the door behind you.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

A. Search the bins for evidence.

You find some candles and matches in the first bin you check. You find another bin full of silver incense burners. You get further from the door to check the next, and can't see what is in the bin. You reach in and feel some round objects. You pick one up and hold it in the light. It is a human skull.

You worst you expected to find was drugs. This case just got much more serious. There have to be at least a dozen skulls in that bin. What do you do?

A. Put the skull back and run.
B. Take the skull and run.
C. Continue to search the basement.

Take the bin, but continue to search.

Take the bin, but continue to search.

Pocket a skull, and continue the search after closing the bin.

But there's a bunch of extra skulls just sitting there! How could we not take advantage of this cranial windfall?
