Cromwell = Show them the paper.

[[Time: 1632 (4:30 PM) Day 2]]

The man with the revolver takes the paper from you angrily and begins to read it. After several moments he hands it to his compatriot.

"Yes... This is his writing alright. I am impressed. It looks like we owe you a debt of gratitude outsiders. We've just finished cataloging the weaponry."

"BUT don't get any funny ideas! Just because we're giving you weapons doesn't mean we like you." The Other man growls.

"Rubeus obviously trusts them. Are you questioning him?"

What little you see of the man you've come to think of as "Jerkass" pales a little "No... Of course not."

"Good. Now... Between the five of you he wants us to give you..." glancing back down at the paper he reads "Three ten millimeter pistols, a nine-millimeter Sub-machine gun, and a shotgun. On top of that he wants us to give you a clip full of ammo for each of them so..." the man pauses momentarily to add it in his head.

After a few seconds of silence Jerkass says "Thirty six ten millimeter rounds, twenty five nine millimeter rounds, and two shotgun shells."

"I was almost there! Anyways... Who gets what?"

((I have small guns at 45% KJ has 19%, DP has 53%, RC had 57%, and USEC has 35%

So who gets what? I'd like the one that takes the least AP to fire.))

((Huh, the Colts are actually a bit better than the machine gun in most cases, other the lack of burst fire and smaller ammo capacity.

Also, Selina does not have enough Strength to use the shotgun. Anyone else can, though.))

I'll take a Colt, unless other people want it.
((I'd rather not take the shotgun.))

Grab an SMG.

((I really wish we had more shells for the shotgun, honestly. Anyways, unless people complain I'll be grabbing the SMG due to my Fast Shot skill and low firearms skill.))

((I also have Fast Shot, but the SMG has the same AP cost as the pistols, so I'm good with either.))

((Hmmm. Maybe we should swap weapons then. You're more accurate with it after all. Unless I should keep the SMG to make up for my lower skill with more bullets...))

So if I have this right the current loot distribution is as follows:

Kira will take the 9mm SMG
Cromwell will take the 10mm Colt
Kyle will take the 10mm Colt

The remaining 10mm Colt and Shotgun are still up for grabs. Technically so is the ammo but I'm just assuming that everyone is taking one clip worth. A few of you have complained about the relative lack of shotgun ammo. This is true... BUT it's apretty powerful gun right now in your adventure so... Basically just find a store and do stuff with it. Eh?

Furthermore I have a question about combat. How would you guys prefer it be handled? As in, what is the general amoun tof turns your want the random encounters to last? And what difficulty? [More difficult = More EXP but also more likely that one of the wait-listers will take over]

Also, I changed from Pink text to Teal. It's a bit less fabulous but it's MUCH easier to see on white background [which I'm being forced to use because Darkling isn't working for me for some reason any more...]

It depends on the encounter. I suppose several turns depending on the fight. Bloat flies would be like three at the most. Normal would be nice. And please for the love of all that is holy no cazadores.

Selina nervously takes the colt, hoping she would be able to use it.

((I believe that Bloat Flies and Caxadores are a New Vegas thing. But the point still stands for the regional equivients.))

Actually Bloat Flies were also in Fallout 3, though they were more aggressive [or maybe it was vice-versa?] but yeah. Cazadores are only in the Mojave [for now] and if they did migrate [or were brought here] you probably [probably] won't be fighting them for a while.

At this point, unless you're super unlucky, you won't be fighting anything too far off your pay-grade because I'm still working on the combat mechanics [in a sense...]

ALSO, I'm going to assume Dirk is designated Shotgun guy. Unless someone else takes it. It's still up for grabs.

Actually Bloat Flies were also in Fallout 3.

((Hmmm. Yeah, I think you're right. They must have been very low-level creatures though, because I can barely remember fighting them.))
