Selina nods and takes her knife gently before nodding to the officer before following everyone out.

Rui turns to Mr. Parting
"On the off chance that their mission goes sour, would I be able to join the Vault Security team to learn how to defend my home?"

Officer Parting seems relatively conflicted about this "We don't usually accept those who do not get assigned this job on the G.O.A.T. but we might make an exception. We are going to lose a valuable member of the force. Come back tomorrow and I'll have my answer then."

That's because mathing skill sheets takes a while. I'll probably do it when someone else dies.

Kira heads to the Vault entrance to begin the mission.

Kyle walks off. He may be insulting Parting under his breath in a langue that's mostly dead.

"...Thanks."
Cromwell shoulders his bag and heads out of the armory.

Selina nods and takes her knife gently before nodding to the officer before following everyone out.

The group of five splits for a few moments with Dirk Brown staying in the armory for reasons unknown to the others and Kyle stomping off while muttering what can only be assumed to be insults towards Officer Parting. The rest head towards the vault door to prepare themselves mentally for the task at hand. No matter how many times they told themselves that it'd be easy it never really worked the slight worry that something would go wrong out of their mind. Still, eventually, when the other two showed up they all simply waited. For what or who they didn't really know. It wasn't nerves that stopped them this time. It was the fact that none of them actually knew how to open the door. There were so many buttons and levers on the console they didn't want to run the risk of screwing something up.

"Wait!" yelled a squeeky voice from behind them drawing their attention. It was the head Engineer Mr. Harold.

His short legs barely carrying him past a jog while his luxurious grey mane of hair fluttered behind him "Don't you touch any of that you hoodlums!"

Finally catching up to you he glared at each of you "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be-" pausing for a moment he looked at your bags and attire "Oh... You're the ones they're sending out there to do a head engineers job... Very well. Don't let me keep you."

After a few moments of waiting he raises an eyebrow "Scared to go out into the world?"

Kira salutes Harold, "Of course not, sir! I am ready to leave whenever you are able to open the Vault Door!"

"Well, it was more to apologize for making your razor zap you before heading out..."

"That was you?" Mr. Harold shook his head "You're a real asshole kid."

Kira salutes Harold, "Of course not, sir! I am ready to leave whenever you are able to open the Vault Door!"

Mr. Harold looks at Kira confused for a moment before a spark of recognition appeared in his eyes "The morons didn't tell you how to open the door did they?" Mr. Harold seems rather annoyed "I can see we're in the best hands possible. I swear... moving towards the controls he pulls one of the dozens of levers.

A loud screeching sounds as the alarms at the front of the vault. Without anything assisting it the vault door slowly moves to the left revealing a barren dark wasteland stretching for many dozens of feet before a large rockwall obstructs your view. It would appear that the Vault is actually within a cave. Eventually the warning alarms die off and the door comes to a halt.

"There. Once you get out of this damn cave Yusef'll send the information he had ME gather. Not so much as a thank you though... I'll shut the door on your way out."

"You took my limited first edition Grognak the barbarian comic. I could have done much worse you know. Anyways... feel free to dig through my stuff mister Harold, I have a feeling I won't be back anytime soon."
With that, Kyle exits the vault.
