Harvey chuckles for a moment as he walks before responding.

"Oh I don't know, that pore guy in pink didn't look so hot after I grabbed him by the ankles and used him as a human club to batter his friends. Took rather a lot of you legion soldiers to subdue one unarmed man.

That reminds me? Did the pore guy ever walk again his leg made a lovely crunching sound when I got a grip on it. Shame the centurion was to smart to come inside my reach but he did look a little weak in the knees.

"Oh no. He was adequately... punished for his failure. As for the Centurion, I have told you time and again that a Recruit Decanus is not the same thing as a Centurion. One is merely a step above a Recruit, another is as close as one comes to the Legate as they get."

"One pig faced coward looks much the same as any other to me. Funny isn't it despite being condemned to death you threw slaves and gladiators at me to do the deed. Not a single one of your mighty legion soldiers stepped into the arena against me.

Not that it stopped me sending a large number of the men set to guard me away on stretchers but then the legion isn't famous for intelligence. Maybe you'd like to come back to the ring and show me how a legion soldier fights.
"

Harvey added a touch of mocking to his tone as he spoke curious to see if he could get a rise out of the guide.

"Yes. Not a single Legion man has volunteered to go against you. After all, you have been deemed... Necessary by Rubeus. As for you jibes, I would remind you that it is only your status with Rubeus which keeps you alive. I understand that you like to have your fun, but biting the hand that feeds you is a most... Unwise decision." The man's demeanor did not change, yet it was obvious he was slightly annoyed at the boast.

"You mean the hand that held me prisoner for four months? Sent dozens of men to try to kill me? Poisoned me before fights because your so called champions were to weak to do the job in a fair fight? Had me stabbed minutes before stepping onto the sand so loss of blood would slow me."

Harvey snorted in amusement before continue.

"I'm sorry did I hurt your fragile legion ego? I'll try to remember not to make unwise decisions otherwise you might condemn me to death in the arena. Huh."

Instead of responding with a biting remark the Legion Man only smiled "It is your fault for complaining that the matches were boring. We were simply trying to... spice up your life. As for your jibes, some lesser legion commanders would have you lashed to a cross. Once again, I ask that you understand just how close you are to pushing myself too far."

[[I guess you guys either don't wanna roleplay or are busy... That said I'm gonna wait until about 8pm (12 hours) before I update this again. Fun fact: I'm going to rename several guns because I changed my mind on what I want them to be called (No stat changes, but I sorta want to give them real names). Granted, if you guys want to keep the old way that's fine too. I can change it back at any time.]]

Alright, if you check your equipment list you will find that some changes have occurred [as I have said no stat changes. Just names.] in order to evoke different imagery when using the weapons.

Someone has PM'd me to ask for a specific piece of equipment. I would like to say that I DO take requests. You may not get it for a while, but if there is a certain gun, or thing, or whatever you want to see, fight, or recruit you have but to ask. If I don't think it'll break things, I'll let you do so.

Quote from: Actions
All: Arrive outside Rubeus’ tent
[[Time: 0620 (6:20 AM) January 19th] Day 8]]

After a few moments the conversation between Harvey and the man in green dies out. Still, you learned quite a bit about your new… companion or murderer. You’re not entirely sure which to classify him as. After a few more minutes you arrive in front of a building with a large golden bull painted on the door.

”Here we are. Please be kind to Rubeus. He has been… Unkind as of late and we wouldn’t want our new guests to end up lashed to a cross would we?” the man in green said with a sickening smile. While as charming as it could possibly be, you just didn’t trust the smile. ”And you, Mr. Khai, please behave yourself for once. I can’t confirm anything, but I think you’ll be most pleased with how this can work out.”

”Enough of your blabbering and send them in! I have no use for your delays today.”

”And there is my cue to leave. In you go.”

So saying he leaves without another word. Opening the door Harvey is the first inside quickly followed by the others. The room is clean… Cleaner than anything you have yet seen in this wasteland. Whereas other buildings have had grease or dust, this room is almost as clean as the inside of the vault.

Sitting on a desk is Rubeus without his helmet. His graying hair is closely cut and seems to be well cared for. He looks up from a clip-board and scowls. Somehow even the many scars and scowl do not detract from his statuesque looks.

”Where is the techie?”

A bit of an early update. Turns out there was a bit more to unarmed combat than I thought. Never-the-less I’ll explain the basics of how not using a weapon works:

If you have a free hand, you can use punches. If you have two free hands you are able to use kicks. Why is it like that? Having the strongest unarmed attack AND a weapon seems a bit much to me. Anyways… There you go.

Also, added a little picture for your status. Too much? I was bored and decided to play around with how I show certain pieces of information.

"So oh master of the pig face's why am I here and not relaxing in my cell? I was starting to enjoy myself. You send people to kill me and I send you back broken meat suits. You have recruits attack me before a fight I break your recruits in half afterwards.

Fun.

"He... He's gone." Selina said in a quiet tone.

Rubeus frowned "That is unfortunate. Give me a moment." Rubeus seemed to be pondering something when Harvey spoke up.

"So oh master of the pig face's why am I here and not relaxing in my cell? I was starting to enjoy myself. You send people to kill me and I send you back broken meat suits. You have recruits attack me before a fight I break your recruits in half afterwards.

Fun.
"

Rubeus' face seemed to twist in anger until, suddenly, he smiled "Yes... Yes, you have. In fact, that is why I had you brought here." Looking at the others he said "But before I go any further, I've been informed you had a request." the smile on his face when he mentioned your request didn't exactly fill you with confidence.

[[Just a heads up, if you're not up to role-playing, just say My guys hits these main points "X, Y, Z" and I'll handle the rest.]]
