Grab some of the armor and equip it.

Cromwell heads over to Selina and pats her on the shoulder.
"You did well. Don't fret."

Get ready to head out when everyone's ready.

Selina curls up and falls asleep if appropriate. If not, she'll be rocking back and forth for a bit before they leave. she doesn't seem to respond to talking right now.

Cromwell: Grab a set of Legion Recruit Armor, Equip Legion Recruit Armor
[[Time: 1835 (6:35 PM) January 17th] Day 6]]

When it becomes apparent that Selina is too far gone for now to be talked to Cromwell simply shakes his head and heads towards the pile of guns, weapons, and armor and picks out a single set of Legion Recruit Armor. Taking extreme care to inspect it for any defects Cromwell nods before putting it on. It wasn't that he really liked it. For one thing, it was a little too tacky for his tastes. But still, the sturdy leather construction would make it more prudent to wear than his vault jumpsuit. Oddly enough it was a perfect fit, despite the fact that the legion recruits had all been different sizes than him... Hm... Convenient.

Dirk picks up the pieces of his gun, the revolver and some armor. He also tries to fix his gun. If that fails, give all my remaining bullets to Kira. Put on any armor I find and equip my knife.

Cromwell grabs one of the remaining suits of armor and sets it down next to Selina, as she likely won't think of it otherwise. Then sit down somewhere.

Kyle: Wait…
Cromwell: Give Legion Recruit Armor to Selina. Sit down and wait…

[[Time: 0600 (6:00 AM) January 18th] Day 7]]

The group had decided to take a small break and formally strip the items off of the dead legion recruits and scout and place them in a small pile. Not the best set of items, but you got the feeling they were low ranking. Still… It was what it was.

Dirk was the first to grab some of the items from the pile. Most likely because he was very close to weaponless. Having tried to fix his mauser earlier he was frustrated beyond repair to find that he just wasn’t good at repairing things… at all. Still, a revolver, ammo, and some bitchin’ armor would be just as good in his books. Yet… Well he didn’t need the ammo so he quickly gathered up his extra ammo and handed it to Kira who seemed too busy to reply to his gift. Which was fine by him.

When no one else moved to grab anything Cromwell sighed. Looking over at Selina’s rocking body he was filled with conflict. He didn’t want to do something that might make the situation worse but… Looking at the Legion Armor he knew it was sturdy… Standing up he picked up one of the less bloody suits of armor and sat it down beside her, neatly folded.

When she made no move to put it on he simply shrugged “You need to protect yourself. It might seem ghou… Uh… Uncouth but we need all the protection we can get.”

Selina simply remained silent though she did stop rocking back and forth in order to lay on her side.

Cromwell stood next to her awkwardly before he sat himself up next to a large rock. “I think… I think we should camp for tonight.”

Contrary to their belief Kira didn’t say anything to the contrary “Yeah… The group’s pretty hurt… We need to take a small rest.”

---12 hours later---

The group woke up to the smell of decaying corpses. Wonderful… Still they did feel much more rested. The only issue was what to do now? Where to go? What to do with the items still unclaimed… Simply what to do?

Selina seems somewhat recovered in the morning, putting on the armor mechanically in a way. She then waits for the others to decide a direction of travel.

Cromwell shrugs, and stuffs the knives into his backpack.

"Anyone want to make a suggestion on our direction?"

The group continued to ponder their next move as Selina finally put on the Legion Recruit Armor and Cromwell grabbed enough knives to open up a small butchery.

 [[Time: 0605 (6:05 AM) January 18th] Day 7]]

It was about that time that the group realized Kyle was being particularly quiet… They waited several more moments before they found a small pile of items… All of them Kyles… Where he had gone and why wasn’t obvious, but what was obvious was that he was missing.

Alrighty, I’ll contact the first waitlister and if they respond I’ll introduce them at the first opportunity. If they don’t the next guy gets a chance, and then the next, then the next…

Selina unconsciously picks up as much of Kyle's stuff she can carry and gives whatever items to people that they want, then follows everyone south-east.
