"We... should head home...."

Ever have one of those times where you just realize "Oh wait a second? I'm really stupid..."

I just had one. You guys already voted... Whoops!

Alrighty, I'll do the movement thing here in a bit.

[[Time: 2305 (11:05 PM) Day 2]]

The group travels through the darkness without much conversation. The long six hours of walking have led them to a desolate waste that’s just like all the other desolate wastes they’d seen so far. The wonder it used to invoke is still there. Only growing stronger actually. After a life-time of living underground seeing above ground is still a desirable novelty. The issue came in that they were all tiring quickly AND annoyed that the moon [you’re pretty sure that’s the right word. Wasn’t much call for it in the vault…] isn’t providing enough light to show you everything.

Finally dropping down to the ground in protest the majority of the group begged the leader, Kira, for a brief rest. The only protests she offered were that they should have said something earlier because she was exhausted as well.

Taking a quick nap the group was awakened by an ominous scratching noise. It sounded like… Some sort of pack animal coming close. Small ones though.

It took the group a few seconds to notice the moving shapes and another minute to be sure of what they were. Rats. More specifically giant rats as big as a house-cat. More specifically eight of them.

“Giant rats? Really? What the hell!?” Selina shouted as she scrambled to a standing position.

“Giant is right! Look at that one!” Kyle pointed at the head of the rat-horde. A big, bad rat almost half as tall as Kyle himself was leading the charge.

“Alright folks! Take ‘em out!” Kira called as she unholstered her gun. She wasn’t trained for this. But they were just rats. How bad could they be?

Night time is awful for ranged fighting. Keep in mind that you don’t lose 100% accuracy after 4 squares. You lose the CtH from the worst square you shoot through. So shooting through dim AND dark will only apply the Dark penalty. But obstacles DO stack. So Dark + Boulder + Boulder can be very bad. Just keep that in mind. Good luck!

Ready myself for the first one to come out from behind the boulders, and unload on them.

Your entire team goes first. What you're basically saying is to not do anything this round. Which is fine, I just want you to know that there isn't an Overwatch like feature in this game.

Wait for them to come out from behind the rocks, then fire at the rearmost rats with newly acquired pistol. If thats not possible, just shoot the rearmost rats.

Equip SMG. Fire a burst at B.B. Rat, or Giant Rat 7 if B.B. Rat isn't an enemy.

((Also, you have two Giant Rat 4s...))

Which of your other weapons are you replacing? Since you have a non-fist weapon in both hands you need to specificify

((Crud, no overwatch.))

Put my knife back, and take out my Colt, put the colt in my dominant hand and the mauser in my recessive hand.

While I'm thinking about it, if there's a particular perk/ability you want to have in-the-game you should probably tell me as soon as possible so I can start setting up scenarios wherein you can acquire it. I've already got a nice Nut Punch thing going for whomever it is that wanted that. So, yeah. Anything at all?

Also, there are currently 65 perks/abilities. Isn't that fun? I think so. Each player should end the game [at Level 30] with about 10 of those.

I was the one who wanted the nad smash.

Also I think maybe a perk increasing crits from medicine? That makes sense right?
