Its super different and I hated it at first but once I got past the huge difference in gameplay.. Well.. I kinda sunk like almost a hundred hours into it and I still end up playing it every night.. And I haven't even done coop yet. :l

But the whole reason I'm asking this is because the game is going to have a mashup of ideas from both of them. Plus. You know. Communism. No mechanics or anything (mostly). Either way this game is going to be satisfying. As long as you guys remain silly loyal to Mother Russia without straying into minimalist territory with world destroying and stuff. :3

1. How many of you have actually played Monster Hunter?

2. Any fans of Metal Gear Solid out there? Has anyone played Peace Walker?

Haven't played Monster Hunter, but I have played a good chunk of the MGS games. Including Peace Walker. In fact, I was gonna ask if it inspired certain parts of this.

You grab the charging handle with your teeth and yank the shit out of it before leveling it at the Tigrex and opening up. 300 ZZZ DMG Your inventory is full! You drop your Net Rifle in order to carry the Linked ZZZ Guns!

[d20=14] The choppers take another pass. 280 DMG Tigrex counterattacks! [d20=14] The Tigrex snatches at the choppers with his jaws as they pass low to the ground. 4 choppers destroyed!

*ksh*Comrade Gandalskivich was in one of the choppers! Is he okay!!?*ksh* [d20=12] *ksh*Affirmative comrade! His vehicle was clipped pretty good, but it does appear to still be in the air!*ksh

Blaring alarms fill your ears. Flashing red warning lights leave you nearly blind and black smoke billowing from the fore of the vehicle chokes your lungs. The cockpit took a direct hit when the Tigrex attacked the flight of choppers, and when you try to raise the pilots all you hear is static. You rip off the headset and toss it aside, then look down at the snow-covered ground rushing past below. Fortunately the helicopter is flying straight and level despite the damage so you've got time to come up with a plan, but there's little room for wit when the only way out is 100 meters into solid ground.

[3vs2] You run towards the Tigrex and embrace him. He roars angrily and tries to pull you off, but you cling onto him in an unholy feat of strength. Shhhh.... Its okay now.. His roars grow steadily softer and he soon falls into a fit of short, barking sobs. Grow-waugh ragh! You smile softly up at him, then your eyes widen as he prepares to return your embrace with one of his own. You shake your head and try to push away from him. NONONONO I DON'T THINK THAT'S A GOOD IDE-ACK!@#& You feel your ribs exploding inside your chest as he steadily crushes you, and you beat helplessly at his massive chest in a desperate struggle to escape his grip. 36 NML DMG Tigrex is enamored with Comrade Plox! Comrade Plox is immobilized!

A helicopter with the words HAWAII OR BUST spray-painted on the side lands nearby. The door slides open and inside the chopper is loaded with tanned, half naked tropical babes waiting with string flower necklaces and blended margaritas. ~Aloha comrades! <3~ They all beckon from the helicopter, waving and blowing kisses. Your men look at one another, then break out cheering, dropping their guns into the snow and piling into the helicopter. The chopper takes off, and the last thing you hear is the sound of ukeleles as they fly off into the sunset.

Feeling disappointment at the quick abandonment that his comrades have shown towards him GREAT RUSSIA!!!, one of the remaining few is sparked with the idea of yet another opera. One with ample use of lutes, bongo-drums, cymbals, tibetan singing-bowls and harmonicas. And cowbell. All operas nowadays need more of those, actually. For those wondering, the chances of this particular comrade being Comrade Plox, are rather slim indeed...

Undaunted by this, Comrade Mozartschek thinks up a most cunning and failsafe plan. Well, at least more failsafe than the incident last year which involved rubber-ducks, cartridges and an carnivorous alpaca. Poor orphans...
Ahem - either way;

Using the current state of the beast, Mozartschek makes a dashing attempt towards getting closer to it, intending to empty his gun directly and point-blank towards one of its arteries!
