I could understand the theories behind someone intentionally creating a scarring experience in order to create a psychological block to any kind of possible future pleasure derived from certain (in this case homosexual) activities.

Why is your first instinct to imagine that I'm talking about the possiblity of a woman raping a man, rather than whether or not it's possible to 'rape a guy straight'?
You have to immediately make the assumption that I small-mindedly believe 'if men don't want it, they won't get it up', instead of thinking, even for a second, that I may small-mindedly believe 'Lesbians can be shown the useful properties of the penis, but a gay man will never see any benefits to the vagina'?
Obviously, there's many different layers to any given situation. I personally have been raped before and it was great. Yes, YMMV, notably between the alternating circumstances of an aggressive rape filled with fear, pain and loathing, and that one time a lesbian agreed, albeit with much trepidation, to have sex with a man, simply out of curiosity, afterwards giving him a pat on the cheek and saying 'I see your purpose now' before leaving to have a snack. But that being said, I get a sense (stereotypical that it is), that bisexuality comes easier to females than males.
I'll put a firm 'no' on the idea that someone can be raped over to a different sexuality, simply becauase aside from being ludicrous, rape is (usually) a horiffic crime, so I imagine for the 1 in a million who recieve some kind of unexpected pleasure from the primal treatment of a "worst case" rape scenario, there's another nine hundred or so thousand who are forever scarred (and let's be honest here, the 1 probably is too). But I do believe that some people can via sex, whilst not change their sexuality, understand sex with specific other genders as a pleasurable experience. Gay women, in my educated yet uninformed opinion, are more likely to regard sex with men as something they might do on occasion than gay men might, simply because men have less sensitive nerve structures in their specific organs. A butt is generally described as simply 'a tighter vagina' (which is why the stereotype about boys and derbumsecks), but a penis has a warmth and texture not shared by most synthetic counterparts.
Furthermore I note that yes, mansex goes both ways. See re: counterintuitive.
The fact that calling me out on making a majority misconception caused you yourself to make one is ironic(That's irony, right?).
So I should now laugh at your unintentional hypocrisy.

But I can't, because I just wrote three paragraphs on sex simply because I was trying to anticipate what other statements of general unhappiness you were going to make re: my beliefs, and then provide information to back up my ideas, whilst still throwing in defining sentences so that people can't misinterpret what I'm saying for advocacy of something which is terrible. "Sex them until they love it" only happens in lonely housewives' erotica. In reality, rape is almost always (barring very, very specific instances) a traumatic experience and breach of privacy for the victim. Which is bad. Inequivocably.
My arguments were that a person (usually the ultra-casuals) can enjoy sex with someone other than their preferred gender, and they won't know until they try it. Via sex. Not via rape.

As far as I'm concerned, there's a big difference between statutory rape (arguably consensual sex with someone below the legal age of consent) and coercive rape. And I don't just mean through force, but coercion like someone in a position of power over someone else abusing their authority for sex. If two teenagers agree to have sex with each other and one of them says "I've been raped before and it was great" afterwards somehow I feel it's not really fair to call it rape. If one pressured, forced, or coerced the other, then (no matter how much the coerced partner enjoyed it) that would probably be date rape, but if it was mutually consensual, then despite the legal technicality, I wouldn't say it was rape. However, I may be understanding your situation, in that I'm not sure if you meant there was consent there.

So, just to be clear, it's all a matter of consent, and coercion (even through non-violent means) that elicits a 'yes' doesn't count as consent.

Well, yeah! Experimentation is a very necessary thing for people. I'm not really sure why you felt you had to link it to rape (or, that you felt it was a thing you thought had a casual link between it and rape)- it's kind of a contentious topic.

My circumstances weren't statuatory rape, no, but similar in that they were wrong by the law, but not wrong in my eyes.
A similar but less contentious case would be if a depressed person did not want to have sex with his girlfriend, but she forced herself upon him, believing that it would 'shake him out of it'. The depressed person realizes later that the physical intimacy was actually quite healing for him, although he did not appreciate it at the time.

Ah, I misinterpreted. Fair enough. It was the use of "impossible or counterintuitive", which seemed to imply two separate situations. One where it's a physical impossibility due to the parts involved, and one where the logic doesn't work. But if that's not what you meant, sorry ^^ Misinterpretation due to the vagaries of the English language, my bad.

Unfortunately, "men can't be raped by women" is an attitude I've seen enough in my life (even from otherwise reasonable and rational people, friends and family even) for it to become something of a hair-trigger. Maybe I need to work on that, sorry.
