i'd just like to say that this thread has enlightened me in regards to there being different methods of stirring, i no longer have to thank obama when my stirring is inadequate

I'm surprised how many people
A) stir counterclockwise over clockwise
B) alternate while stirring - that's so prone to spilling, you can't go as wild, so I don't get the point
