Wordlessly Corfax slinks off to loop in behind the owlbears, hiding as he waits for one of his allies to assault them directly.

The Firebringer waited with the patience he had show for decades. When they came in close, with a steady tread, he approached and sliced them to pieces.

Assuming I don't have shinies to look at, I charge the nearest zombie and give him my full +6 power attack, for a total +24 to hit and 2d8+30 damage, while screaming "YOU ARE NOT WORTHY!".

((I have to ask, Hans, are you using any sort of battle grid which could be transposed here relatively easily? It'd be helpful in fights so we know if we're actually close enough to move and attack, if we *cough*I*cough* can get a flank, whether we'll hit allies with AoE effects, etc.))

((Cue exploding zombie.))

Drakruldus flits up into a tree, locating a good position to see the zombies without being seen.

((Awesome. Incidentally, GWG's suggestion is a pretty good one.

As far as alternatives go, here is a comprehensive list of mapping programs. Most of the good ones are more oriented towards an IRC style of play with integrated chat, etc., but those can still be used to generate visuals, and would certainly be easier to use than hand-drawing things or using one of the simpler mapmakers.))

Spoiler: Battle map (click to show/hide)

Each hex is five feet across. If you go straight at the enemy, the lines of meeting hexes are five feet also. I know this might be a little wonky, because Hexes can't be five feet across on both, but we're going with it.

You might want to rethink some of your actions, you have a little time before they get close enough to charge. :P
