((I am a vanilla monk, and his name is Cog. The character sheet for him is in my signature. I find it's easier to find that way.))

((Clever. I'm vanilla monk as well, so perhaps we knew each other prior to this. Same martial arts school and all.))

The first monk nodded politely at the new arrival.

"Well met, Brother Cog."

"Well met Brother Ironclaw. You were summoned as well?"

((... Whoops. I actually remember seeing that now. Derp brain is derp.))

Ironclaw shook his head ruefully.

"Not summoned, no. I heard some sort of commotion and heard that the Great Dragon was making an announcement, but Master insisted I weed the fungi garden before I could attend. I just now got here. Do you know what happened?"

"Only that you got here before me. I did hear rumor that the various champions of the mountain were summoned here by the Great Dragon."

[Hanslanda]

The Dragonkin whom Skitter had pestered leaned down and leered at the two monks, "And you worthless runts were chosen over the true Champions of the Mount. Because you're expendable, worthless, and weak. Bah!" He shook his head sharply, and chuckled as he turned to walk off, "You'll be dead within a week, and then the Great Dragon will just send our Champions anyway."

[Sirus]

Ironclaw watched the Dragonkin walk off, puzzled.

"...chosen for what?" He declined to comment on the rudeness; every kobold was all too familiar with the (sometimes justified) arrogance of the Dragonkin.

[Flying Dice]

Corfax snickers to himself as he watches the Dragonkin leave.

"Jealousy becomes you so very much."

Cog ignores the Dragonkin.

"Hrmm. Only those who feel inferior feel jealousy. But, as he said, we were chosen, so perhaps we should ask the Great Dragon himself?"

[Taricus]

Irlitrix just shook his head, as he shifted his body to face the direction of the great dragon's chamber and started to walk towards it.
