Can't link bridges to my lever
« on: January 07, 2014, 08:30:50 pm »

I started a new fortress recently and built some raising bridges that I wanted to link to some levers. I used "q" on the lever and "b" for bridge. The screen brings me up to the surface where my bridges are, but despite the bridges flashing yellow when I hover over them, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to confirm linkage. I'm supposed to be able to use -/+ buttons to scroll between bridges, but that option doesn't appear either. Pressing enter or whatever doesn't change anything, and the only option that shows when I hover over the bridge is "x" to remove.

The bridges are build, and I do have enough mechanisms. I'm using the LNP, and my mouse query is enabled via dfhack.

and that is the problem. Disable the mouse plugin, it's known to cause issues when linking levers

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

Ahhh I had this issue crop up now and then and couldn't figure out why worked sometimes. Will try that too. :)
