Made 15 X Items (I now have 4 of each) at the cost of 3,900 PC.

Turned Saber into a Water/Steel type by paying 15,000 PC. Will need to know how this changes her move pool and capabilities, and most likely weight class.

Now I'm back down to 90 PC. Added in the PC from the Life Orb and I'm up to 830.

Okay, assuming everyone did get that 7200 credits that Edro said we would, I'm spending the 3200 on more ultraballs, bringing me to a grand total of eight ultraballs, and 4000 credits in reserve.

Are speed stat items available? I thought they were under the purview of the TDD.

Also since apparently this is the time to buy items I think I should probably buy light armor and running shoes and... Are Focuses available via printers? One of those might be nice.

Also can I buy a shield? It's listed under hand items, but it also seems like it might be something the TDD might have a monopoly on.

Yeah, the ship store still only sells medicines, vitamins, and Pokeballs currently (in addition to the Pokemon). We should probably head for that green alert to buy it some time, but there's still that other orange to worry about.

Hm, could I take Elemental Connection later? I'm hoping to take one of the elementalist classes down the line.

Also, I decided against Skill Stunt, it wasn't the version I thought it was when I asked to take it, and I exchanged it for Basic Skill (Focus).

Get Type Ace. Elementalist existed before. :p

Yes, but the old elementalists aren't nearly as interesting or fitting as the new ones. And if you go with the idea that Velik's Stim Packs have a mutagenic effect then it can work.

...not good enough justification. Try harder.

Isn't that supposed to be a GM Decision?

I honestly just thought that a poison elementalist might be a decent option for Velik.

It is, but at least put some justification we the players can stomach.

Well, after talking with Kuji on Skype, I'm going to try using the following as justification for getting Elemental Connection (Poison) and, eventually, Miasmic.

1) When he worked with Vash for the first time, he was accidentally poisoned by him
2) Velik's X Items have a minor mutagenic effect
3) The mutagen from the X Items slowly bonded the lingering poison with Velik's DNA

Also of note: Almost all of Velik's friends are poison types or use poison (Vash the Beedrill, Ribbos the Croagunk, Ethan the Ninja, and Talia the Nidorina (only an acquaintance at the moment)) and Velik works with chemicals, some of which are dangerous.

You don't count Croaker? I thought you and him were really connecting on a deep spiritual level.

Yeah, the ship store still only sells medicines, vitamins, and Pokeballs currently (in addition to the Pokemon)

Oh. That does that seem to be the case. Does this mean that armor and such is off limits as well?

I dunno. Check with Weird when he's online. He may be busy packing for his trip.
