I think we should use our remaining time to go to the beach and the temple. Mostly because apparently we can get rock types from the hold, and although probably they will be different from what we can get at the asteroid itself, they might not be as different as the beach and temple, and at this point diversity seems like a worth while goal (maybe...)

The ones in the hold were labeled redundant and may not be as useful.

And a training battle seems like more or less a waste of time when we are so sorely pressed.

Except that ship based combat may be very different from what we're used to and a practice run may be nice to have. It's good to be prepared.

All that said I think we should go for the temple first because I like water pokemon most and some of the new water pokemon are cool and who knows maybe the new rules for them will come out within the next week and we will be able to catch them. Which I guess is a pretty slim reason, but eh.

Hm, I am hoping for a water type or two, they're usually pretty good, but can't really justify it over a practice run unless we do it in the session after this one.

There were labelled redundant by a science crew. Probably means they got more specimens than they wanted from that asteroid.

And I'd say hit the beach, then the hold. While the temple may be useful, we already have fighting types and we can't afford to have an overspecialisation with them so...

The temple doesn't have fighting types. It has fire types. Also why would we hit the hold when we can do that later, it's one of the few options that does not disappear over time.

Except that ship based combat may be very different from what we're used to and a practice run may be nice to have. It's good to be prepared.

Although this is sorta a good point, I seriously doubt it's going to be different enough to use one of our precocious three two actions on.

Really? That'd mean the alert system is lying. All signs for me say it is both, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more Mankeys.

It has a mankey that another has claimed possesses fire type abilities. That's all.

You guys wanna catch more Mankey then? Oh well.

Did you see the alert system? He doesn't even have eyes!

Although yeah, that's probably right. Maybe. I mean, we know fire types are going to be there, and there was only one type of pokemon on our last fight. I guess I imagined that we were going to fight primarily one pokemon, in this case the caste of fire mankey. But when you put it like that I guess it makes sense that that won't be the case and that there are going to be some lesser mankey combatants as well, which are more or less a waste to us.

So yeah. I guess I vote for the beach.

Edit: I think in general fire mankey would be more useful then whatever rock pokemon we can pick up at the hive. But if there is a wider verity of rock pokemon that could be better then a shallow verity of interesting mankey.

I'm personally very interested in catching that fire monkey priest for myself, but obviously if everyone else votes for something else I can't exactly do that on my own.  We do have time for two events though, not just one.

It'll have to be a contest then, since I am also interested in caping that monkey.

And that was a rather eventful session. Bagged a load of loot, grabbed more than a few new pokemon and some organic vehicles.

Now, we can do whatever. Hopefully we can get a few Eevees and some stones in the future, or atleast some pokemon with the stealth capability.

So, about pass moves, in the first session we did a roll for each target I think, and in the second session we did just one roll for both targets I think, and my version of the pdf says that you make a roll per target. So I was wondering if I could get a clarification on what is correct?

Rolling the stuff for my new pokemon if that's okay. I figured invisiblecastle would be okayand I would just write it here and post this once I finished them all.

Hellbloom: ability: 2 -> Solar Power (That's a weird ability.) Huh. Too bad about his nature, it's pretty bad for a Sunkern, hopefully I can get a sun stone for him soon, it's not great, but at least useable for a Sunflora.

Great Wing the Wingull: Gender: 2 Female. ability: 5, 6 (+SPDEF -SPD) Sassy. Funny how my abilities are bad for the form they are in now, but okay or even good for the evolved form.

Trapinch: Gender: 1 Male Ability: 6, 2... +SPD -ATK WELP

Krabby: Gender: 2 female. Ability: 6 6 +-SPD Serious I guess that's not so bad. Not so good.

Also at this point I realized that I had been fucking up ability and nature for everyone but the first one. Whoops. Luckily actually only Krabby has more then one basic ability, so doesn't matter that much. The Krabbies ability roll: 1. Not bad?

By the way, when we are genning these dudes do we also chose the stats or do we get the stats they already had? Uh. The last pokemon I genned who was also the first, the protomankey, had stats on her token that were very impossible, so I totally redid those stats as I wished. But looking back, and with these new pokemon who have stats that I think are more possible I'm not sure that is the right thing to do.

Also do our pokemon we get from printing and or faction edges count for trainer xp? I ask because... Well, technically I am close enough that if so I could print enough pokemon to level up. Although it probably won't be worth it since it's just level four.
