So, something more akin to a speederbike then?

Also, considering the sort of dangers near the galactic core (And/or the level of colonisation in the "core" Ala Star Wars), We'd be more likely to be traversing around the midring of the galaxy or such, as an assumption.

The mention of Quasars, which are stars at the edge of the universe, make me think we're at the edge and either travelling inward or around the edge to a less colonized area.

Yeah. No genetics.

Also I'd say you are in the last few years of a 24 year long voyage. There have been several recent incidents where the factions have busted people out of Cyro, so you don't have to be middled aged if you want some history before being on the ship.

The ship is large enough to house about twelve thousand active passengers and crew, and the Cyro-Storage uses space compression technology to store about half a million without taking up much space.

So here is a question: How many pokemon should a player of this game have?

There will be some easy capture opportunities early on, so feel free to only go with one. Hell, if you are a combat class, or trust your fellow players to bring the heat for you, you can start with no Pokemon at all.

Alright. I'm going to write up the turn for my other game, post in a few other threads, and then make my final selection of who is in.

Realistically, you all likely have until either late tonight or early tomorrow.

By 'late tonight' I hope you mean really late, I'll do my best to wrap it up in the next few hours.

And thanks for the comments on the ship, not quite what I was imagining but still pretty solid.  I can work with this.  And confirmation on whether I'm right about Beldum line being fine in space or not would be nice.

I guess I am done with my dude, in the end I sorta started leaning more towards the Defense Division then I previously did. Sorta because I wanted to start with a pokemon and Croagunk was my favorite outa the defense division and Litter (and printed) ones.

We have so many Defense Division dudes. I hope it doesn't unbalance the final party's choices.

Yeah, the minute those words are uttered, something invariably turns to hell :P

Or it's just someone ignoring a rather large problem.

Oh right, something I was going to ask but forgot. Does the survival skill make sense in space? If not can I switch it from my background (Wild child) for something else?

It could come in handy when you visit the surface of planets, which will happen with some frequency.
