Okay, sorry for the double post, but here goes.

Carnaki, the robot on the doc actually has a couple more stat point to put down due to it's level, it should have a couple more.. Other than that, it looks all set and good.

Whoops! Thought I'd done that - turns out I didn't give it enough to start with before adding the level-up stats. Oh, well, fixed now.

Contained within is an interview of sorts that I am going to complete (hopefully before the game starts). While reading this keep in mind that I am placing this interview within the time frame of just finding out she is partially in charge of things and that the interview is publicly available, so she may be attempting to hide things out of concern for public relations rather than personal interest.

This certainly looks interesting and I am interested in signing up, although it would be my first Pokemon role playing game experience. At least the system seems pretty much the same as Magia, so it shouldn't be too hard to pick up.

After reading though the rules a bit I sorta want to play a semi stealthy guy who does his own personal combat (as opposed to focusing on pokemon, not to say I don't want to raise Pokemon, but I want to fight alongside them instead of from the back.) And the ninja class in particular interess me.

Both the Malone Litter and the Torterra Defense Division are attractive to me, not sure which one to go with, if ether one.

I do have a few questions: Does poison touch (your damaging attacks have a chance to poison on hits) apply to both attack rolls from double strike?

And a bit more confusing to me, the ninja abilities are apparently supernatural and get their power from "Ancient arts?" As opposed to things like aura or the elements. I was sorta wondering what the implications of that in this setting are, like is it actually magic or what?

Anyway, here is a very much not done sheet, most of it done at like one in the morning. So probably wrong in many ways.

Yeah, to be honest, Magia is based off of PTU and even says so in the credits page. :p

Now let's see...

For Poison Tough, I'll give a weak "yeahhh", subject to change.

Ninja is a piece of work fluff-wise. It's, though, almost impossible to justify with purely mundane means, so it goes into supernatural (I think). Ask Weird about ninja fluff.

Poison Touch should work on both hits of a double strike.

As for fluff, reading your background, I'd suggest going with a bit of non-human ancestry to explain the ninja skills. Perhaps Grandpa was a Toxicroak?

Alternatively, just give you self a bunch of free fluff items justifying your ninja abilities, Although if you do that I have more freedom to dick with you by messing with you gear.

Wow, how did I miss this, I'm definitely interested.

Have to ask first though, would you be open to a homebrew class? Specifically the Potentialist, Artisan, or Detective.

I can understand if you don't and will go with something else, but I really want to try out the Potentialist. I probably won't start with either even if they are allowed, so if you say no part way, no problem, I can always adjust it to something else.

With potentialist I'd go Researcher/Potentialist. Researcher would also be my default if homebrew is a no.

If artisan is allowed, but not potentialist, I'd go with Hatcher/Mentor/Artisan.

Either way, he'll probably go unaffiliated.

Also, I intend to buff the Skill Improvement Poke'edge to account for sentient and highly skill Pokemon crew members, so a couple of the evolutionary traits related to skill may be made redundant.

The other two should be fine. Hell, I'd even let you play Potentialist if you are willing to potentially completely re-do you character when the update happens...

I agree with that, though I'm unsure if the potentialist does that completely, it does at the very least overlap a lot. As it is, I can't start with it anyway, so we'll have time before that comes up if I get in and go that direction.

I think I'll go with a Researcher possibly going into Potentialist later when I qualify if you'll let me (my wishlist includes Dunsparce, Absol, and Sigilyph). If Mega Evolution comes out in the next update I'll gladly shift to another class, most likely Flying Ace. Not a big fan of flying types (I prefer psychics) but I think it'd be a nice change of pace for once.

Damn, son, I take a nap to feel better and I wake up to AHHH ALL THE HOMEBREW.

There's a very good chance that the system for Megas will be so easy to grasp that homebrew Megas will be common, so don't worry about Potentialist. (Also, single-stagers getting buffs? *shudder*)

That works, unless Kuji finds something wrong with the class. Also, I just noticed you can qualify anytime you want by purchasing multiple castform. Please don't abuse that.

I always consider it to be different species to qualify, if I used it, I'd only have one castform, and I don't even intend to take one. I'm going with a solosis and/or golurk.

Recent inspiration has taken me away from the homebrew classes anyway, so it's likely not going to be a problem.

EDIT: I think I have Velik done, he's a scientist/engineer that will mainly act in a support function. Once I get him a wonder launcher he'll be able to do some real "damage" with his Chemical Warfare and X Items. How much is a wonder launcher in this setting anyway?

This sounds interesting, but it'd be nice to have some more info on the setting. The "Star Trek-esque journey through space" doesn't need much introduction, but I'd like to know more about how pokemon interact with everything. (For instance, what pokemon are generally available, how are they generally treated, how would people go about catching more, the presence of legendaries, and such.) Is there something I'm missing that details all that, or is it still up in the air?
