((Who in their right mind sells crowbars, climbing gear and hacksaws in the same place, unless their market is thieves?))
((Funnily enough, I've seen two shops side by side that - taken together - sold all of that.))
It depends on your definition of "climbing gear" - if you're talking rope, hooks and carbines, then you can probably buy it in a shop where they sell tools like crowbars and hacksaws. Not rigging or spikes, though.
((I'm talking the whole shebang. Hell, you could also get the materials needed to make explosives AND detonators without even moving off the same road. I love living where I do sometimes.))

"E-egen? Are you alright?"

"I'll be fine. Just... help me up."

"I'll be fine. Just... help me up."
"Oh! Sure!"
Seanna stands and helps Egen up with her.
"You didn't get burnt or anything right?"
Seanna asks as she quickly checks Egen over for injuries.

Egen groans as she stands up, and then self-consciously blushes as Seanna checks her for injuries. "I'll be fine in a minute. Don't worry about me."

Seanna also blushes.
"I - I'm sorry I ran."
She looks guilty.

"Ah. Well at least you came back," Egen replies, trying to sooth Seanna's conscience.

"Sirs, I do believe he didn't like those pointy-eared hoodlums you call 'elves' sufficiently to count many perfectly human people amongst their number. Very common with the hardline anti-elf crowd. And I should know, I've been called an elf no less than twenty seven times since I've been traveling around the globe! This fellow really hated books, too. Must have been uneducated, too - the hardline anti-elf crowd has that down rather well in most cases. And most of all, he had a chip on his shoulder about elf books, so he went on and burned the romance section first, followed by herbal literature and probably the handicrafts department as well. You know how it is. Just your average ruffian, I'm afraid. Nothing at all unusual. I suspect he also wanted all of our women, though he did not state this," Nosegay explains to the helpful fellow.

'Splain comprehensively!

"But I shouldn't have run! I was scared and I'm supposed to be brave!"

"But I shouldn't have run! I was scared and I'm supposed to be brave!"

"Look on the bright side! If you had stayed and, say, stabbed the wizardly fellow, he would be significantly more difficult to take alive! It probably wouldn't have helped the burning, either! Only preparedness and extinguishing materials help against that!"

"But I shouldn't have run! I was scared and I'm supposed to be brave!"

"Ah, well, everything turned out fine, right? So... it doesn't matter and next time you'll act braver." Egen has absolutely no idea where she's going with this.

"Nosegay is right. I think."

"O-okay."

"See? So there's no reason to be, uh, self-conscious about it. It's okay, we forgive you."

"Nope, no questions! Let's go!"

Natasha turns to the two men accompanying her, "So, who are you fellas'?"

Start quest, engage in conversation.
