You lot are mostly vaguely similar to supposed to be kobolds, so there should be a bunch of you. I can only imagine that the council of shamans shit their pants when they realized the Dragon was sending their band of misfits out on a vital mission of importance, so they kept piling on a few more champions because oh fuck if they screw up the Dragon will fucking eat all of us oh god oh god.

Kobolds ascribe to the Warhammer school of tactics.

Throw everything at it! Someone's bound to survive!

Actually, I'm working on a sheet for a rogue right now. I'm eager willing to switch if Hans is okay with it, because we need a skillmonkey rogue a lot more than we need a kobold who'll run up to people and smash faces. Most of our party is already close-combat oriented, too.

Hrmm. Okay, I've got a Cloak of Arachnida, which, when worn, acts as though you have the spell Spider Climb cast on you. Now the spell says you don't have to make climb checks, and gives you a climb speed of 20ft. Now does that mean I don't have to take climb checks at all, or just one at the start?

You can climb as easily as you walk.

Oh good. Muahahahahaha, spiderbold is go! Although, looking at climb, it says that anything with a climb speed gets a +8 racial bonus to climb checks. Huh. Man, DnD is confusing.

Well, you have to make climb checks for things like rough terrain, just like you make checks to avoid slipping on ice.
