Melvin was scowling away near the bar, in a rotten mood, even moreso than usual given the news that he was supposed to go fight monsters for the damn President.
He wasn't happy about that at all. He needed something to take his mind off it, and as usual that something would involve alcohol.
He saw an amusing situation forming towards the rear of the saloon...

Pick up Julia and drop her into a beer keg.

>Barge over and aid this action.
"Drinks're on us! Heheheh!"
"Dammit. Julia, ready to start the fight you're in for?"

"One sec."
Pick up Julia and drop her into a beer keg.
Nope. He gets punched and possibly tackled first.
Continue action despite this fact.
Alright. After being tackled, he gets dragged away from Julia, then to the bar.
"What's your typical prescription for unruly drunks, bartender?"
"I WILL EAT YOUR BRAIN"
Consume bartender.
"Never mind." Carl slams whats-his-face's head into the bar repeatedly.
"BUT WAIT A MINUTE DON'T WE HAVE TO ROLL FOR COMBA-" The sentence is cutoff as Christophorus is slammed into the bar.

((Nope.
Seriously, though, I'm expecting a roll whenever Wwolin gets back online. Which reminds me, I need to go to bed.))

((Oh god these edits and the resulting timefuckery and recursive pyramids))

"Combat? Yes. Beating down a drunken asshole before he causes property damage? So long as there's no lasting injuries as a result, no."

((Gonna keep rolling to a minimum while in the bar. So long as you limit yourself to the physically probable and don't permanently maim anyone, anything goes. This may change later.))

Kuzma comes closer, grabs Christophorus using his vulnerable condition, and punches him out of the bar. Then turns back to the folks gathered there.
- He annoys me. Now what? Otto was speaking about Mr. Anderson, who might that be?

- Oh. Must have skipped this part by some occasion. Of course a person like him would be useful, that is for sure.

Corran smiles down at Julia briefly before looking around the room again.

I'm Corran, how about you? Little young to be a monster hunter aren't you though judging by your behavior you seem better prepared then most?

I'll tag along with you if you don't mind I don't trust these other people.

And so, here at the end of days, you are as you’ve always been. Willing to die. Not willing to quit.

Vengeance is mine saith the Lord but this morning. He's going to fucking well have to share.

Is she worth it, would you burn the city to save her? For her, I'd burn the world.

Carl tosses the child-dunking parasite to the side.
"Might I suggest bringing Julia as the fifth? It doesn't feel right leaving her here alone with people who want to dunk her into beer or...worse."

Sunan strugs and plays a little tune on his guitar. "I'm fine with it, so long as she agrees, of course. Leaving a lady of such calibre in a sleazy place like this would be a mistake."

- If you ask me, I'm against taking a lady to men's job. If you will choose to take her anyway, I'll have to cope with that, however. But at least you'll know my opinion.
Otto, your vote decides the matter.

"I know more than a few women who'd take offense to that." Sunan says, rubbing his neck slightly. "And I think that our little wild rose is one of them."

"Name's Julia, and if you count out the fact that I've fought wars while most children were still learning their words, assassinated 62 people, and prevented two wars from ever happening, then yes, I am a bit young."
Julia also fought through the space-time continuum, fought off demons and shadows alike, and went through Hell twice, but she doesn't remember that, because those memories were erased from her mind by someone else.

She simply crosses her arms again and watches the others from the back table with Corran.

Sunan plays a little lament on his guitar. "Amazing! Why, I might have met my match here today! It is a shame that you are so young, Julia, else we might have had some fun together."
