Secondly, if you're teh hardcorez and nothing scares you and you eat Slender and Amnesia for breakfast and then laugh at wusses and their delicious, delicious tears... Please don't play.
I'm pretty inclined to say that everyone becomes this while in multiplayer (see: Dead Space). The only exception I can think of is maybe Minecraft... well, at least it's an exception.

That said, I'm pretty interested. I've got a mic and all that as well.

Ah, but the key is in having the jump scare be player-controlled. If it's co-op against AI naturally people get silly, but pretty much every game I've ever played with the premise of "evil asshole player plays mindgames with hunts other players as invisible/fast/deadly monster" results in pantshittingly terrified responses. It's a different sort of fear when compared to single-player horror, but no less genuine. Half the fun of being the hunter is in creating that atmosphere of terror. :3

I think I've got everyone interested in a list in the OP, but let me know if I missed you.

Today I'm going through the last minute, I-think-it's-ready-what-am-I-forgetting scramble. What time zone are most of you in? I'd prefer to have the game take place when it's getting dark/is night for most of you. If four or five of you are available tomorrow evening, we can have the first test then.

Odds are each round of the game is going to be fairly short, given the relatively small size of the demo map, and we're probably just going to play a few rounds.

So, who's available tomorrow?

I believe I am, and am in EST. For the record, it gets dark at like 6:00 PM here right now.

And then we get to see if I can figure out how to set up voice-chat.

EST as well. It gets dark at about 5:30 here, but that doesn't matter. I scare easily.

I also am EST, with darkness at around 6pm.
I am also off work tomorrow.

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Yeah, damn, the memories of playing The Hidden: Source are still alive and well. Would like in, although I'm UTC+1

"Medieval Ghostbusters"
...
........
This game will do well. Those two words alone could probably convince me to buy something.

I'd be interested in playing and have a mic. My best times are around 2000 to 2200 GMT. Could go as early as 1700 though, it's just less ideal.

Alright, player list for the first group:

Doomblade
Rabidgam3r
werty
mastahcheese

I think we'll start with four Wardens initially, since I'm pretty sure the game will be over too quickly if we have more.

Game time: 7:00 PM EST. Get online a little earlier (6:30 or so) so that we can iron out all the inevitable problems with Mumble and port forwarding.

EDIT: Also, there are controls and a few in-game details listed in the OP now.

Do I have to use my mic?

Not necessarily, but you'll still have to use Mumble to hear everyone else blather.
