We're already in Japan, no? A US base gets my vote as well, we need some interceptor power there.

Basically.  We're someplace in Russia, so "Japan-Adjacent" with our radar coverage.  If we just sent out patrols to cover Japan, we'd have no need of a Japan Base.

Conversely, our fighters can't even reach the US without running out of fuel.  Hence the need for US Base.

Soldier's name is Bob.  He just kinda stands around being... present.  Carries a pistol - not a laser pistol, just a pistol.  Just all around non-descript and distressingly sane.

A few things:
1) We're in Japan. Not "Japan-adjacent", actual Japan.
2) The Interceptors can in fact reach North America with their maximum fuel, they just can't stay very long.
3) I also need suggestions for a base name since it looks like the US will be the winner.
4) I can't remember, but is there any need to keep more than one of each alien corpse on hand? I sold off some of the sectoid corpses for some quick cash but far from all of them.

I always like to name my US base "Area 51".

Since I usually plop my US base to cover Canada and Greenland (and eventually Alaska), I normally name it the Great Lakes Base.

The south-american radar base takes care of Mexico coverage.

I always seem to name my US base after air force bases in Nevada, Groom lake (is actually in area 51), Yukka mountain, Area 51 or 52, White sands (actually in new mexico), Los vegas, and i think once for the hell of it i used stargate command.

I just call it CentCom, since its normally the first place I build at.

EagleBurgerFreedomFries? Also, I wouldn't be opposed to shipping a Maxclone to the US if you need extra soldiers, and the "live" ones are kept apart. I don't foresee that being a problem, but in case of emergency, I would approve.
