The list of waiting troops is a text file on my computer. Owen is currently second on the waitlist, so he'll show up in the next wave.

Hokuten leans forward in his chair, almost falling out of it and gripping the Commander's desk in white-knuckled determination. C'mon Commander lemme at em'! I know I can handle myself! How else am I supposed to help out around here?! All we do is run combat sims and clean our weapons! Its damn useless!! He suddenly remembers where he is and who he is talking to and lets go of the desk. Er, with all due respect of course.. Sir..

What is this?! This isn't XCOM! Where are the deaths, the screams, the bodies of humanities "finest"? 
Anyhow, I assume my Eevee is going to drop in sometime soon. Maybe not for 5 updates, but still. Soon is perspective.

Probably the last time I should ask/order the new science officers with "I want you to examine my big unusual gun.". They must've thought I was hitting on them again. I can still feel the pain from that last slap.

If I'm still alive, my vote for the location of the next base is in the middle of the US. It'll provide a lot of coverage and allow quick reaction times to terror missions on that side of the world.
+1 on this great idea!

Central USA will give you more missions that you could ever want, plus smack dab in the middle of three high funding nations!  Plus it'll demand we have more troops to guard two bases.

+1 to the US base, and a request for "Redshirt" Jackson to both be transferred to the US, and to be the first one off the skyranger.

Also, those were totally diplomats in that last ship, they didn't kill anyone... It really shouldn't be a surprise that interplanetary craft are similar in form and the sectoids are causing such a rukus that it is no surprise that other communities are breaking whatever taboo surrounds civilisations that haven't contacted the wider community...
