Right, we are gonna need some off-ship storage and some resources ASAP, so what do you guys say that we go and:

Produce several of the pre-fab structures we just designed, along with, say, 5 o2 makers
mine a subterranean location to store things
setup the ore processor
Why do we need O2 makers? The atmosphere is 25% oxygen.
Also we probably want to get the assembly line set up as soon as possible.

Well, lets not bother with them yet then.

And we wont have enough to assemble until we have materials.

Yeah, that just means it can make parts from stock instead of just mounting them together.

Start with using Construction action to set up Ore Processor so we have it up and running when stuff we dig from underground starts to roll in. Second one next turn should be assembling Sludge Processor so we can feed larger awake crew, then housing so they have place to sleep in when we defrost them.
Use Mining action to dig for underground housing/storage rooms, check if ground contains any ore.
Use Production or Repair action to fix cryobay.

That would take 8 manpower, 13 left... can we split them 5/4/4 between those projects?

Yes.  Though the mining one wouldn't be helped much.

Right, you said that earlier...

Then 7 for cryobay repairs and 6 for Ore Processor construction.

I think if we're going to mine for ore we should put those holes into use, build some early structures there in relative shelter, just in case planet has surprises waiting for us.

I think that the Ore Processor should wait until we have some ore that we want to process (One question about the Processor: can it make usable materials by itself?). Instead we should either build the sludge processor (so we can build up some food stores) or the automated production line (so we can make some construction bots/powersuits next turn to help build up the colony faster). Also, I don't think the parts of the cryobay that are damaged have people that can be revived anymore, so I'm not sure what the point of fixing the cryobay is (although I can't think of anything to do with the Production/Repair action at the moment).

I'm quite sure they want to keep the still-running cyro-bay in good maintenance, henche the repair-option.
As you do have a point with the production line vs the ore processor, we just might do better with the former one. But really, right now it aint all that much different. Untill we find ore, we are somewhat stuck.

You do realise that the production line can use the parts we brought from Earth to make things?

Um, people. Just remember that setting up things out in the open is probably not a good idea, and that we don't have space to set up things inside the ship.

Let's not use our Earth part reserve to make things already. Those are nice for repairs.

Also, we have an entire storage of materials with us. The Engines

The ore processor makes ore into usable materials, but not into parts.  The production line can make materials into things, parts into things faster, or ore into parts.

Apparently it can't make advanced parts though. What do we have that only requires basic parts but can make advanced parts (since otherwise we're going to have to dip into the shipboard stores to make a my first factory)?

We have a research lab, which can design something that we can then construct. Manufacturing equipment might also be used, but I think it can only manipulate, not create advanced parts..

However, we should consider our advanced (and normal) parts a limited and unreplanishable resource.

Anyway, here's my turn proposal, which has a significantly smaller chance to get our stuff wrecked in the first turn.

1 Production or Repair  (Damage Control/Machine Shop) 7 Manpower.
       - Minor repairs to the cryobay. Shut down the sections lost beyond recovery, and sever them from the grid. Don't want an electrical fire.
       - Repair General laboratory
1 Construction action (Powersuits) 12 Manpower.
       - Construct a heightened (40 cm) road/path from the cargo airlock towards the compound (mining site) entrance. They should be able to use the digging debris for this. Be sure to leave a small trench in the middle where we can put the power lines to the compound.
       - Begin engine dissassembly.Gather a small amount of simple materials first, then secure all advanced parts that might be easily damaged by extreme weather.

1 Mining action  (D/D Vehicles). 2 Manpower.
       - Dig into the mountainside, steadily going upwards at a light inclination (2-3%). Once the miners are deep enough, they branch of a large room to the either side. Both rooms should be large enough to host our production line. Focus on finishing one room first.

Manpower: 21 Available

Unlike all previous plans, this does not involving setting up our equipment outside, on an unsecured slope in area with frequent heavy rains. Additionally, the plan provides metal to commence dome construction next turn, and immediatly provides some safety against the massive rains and flooding we're going to be facing; It's also future proofed, but I'll write out my longer term plans later.

I sorta just threw shit together for mine...
