So i went onto a quest to kill a necro, went into the tower, slammed them all and killed the necro.

Now i am the top of the tower and a hatch cover is blocking my way.

i tried moving with alt+movement keys
i tried < and >
i tried alt+5 and ctrl+5
i tried u to open it

nothing worked.

so what do i do? can it be opened? and if not, gives dfhack a way outside like teleport?

Maybe theres a zombie downstairs blocking it or something? Did you try going prone and then moving?

nope every creature was dead.

i used advfort now and deconstructed the hatch. all rooms beneath are completely clear.
