Before Redz can attempt to do something, the Murderous Hippo attempts to bite Redz with his big, diamond tusks:

But lacking most legs proves an impairment when it comes to try to move and bite someone’s ass off. Redz easily sidesteps and casts a spell:

A burst of flame erupts in front of Redz. Being prepared for it, he was already stepping backwards, while extending his own bleeding stump. The result was a cauterized, yet painful stump, but at least it is not dripping blood any more.
((Deliberately targeting his own stump, the exposure gets redirected towards that place, but this was not a controlled reaction, and could have gone bad if the pot roll had been higher.))
After doing that, Redz just ran to the Southern Hallway. The hippo doesn't follow. Likely because it can barely move. Having just one leg does that to you.

A golden line appears, and begins drawing a figure. It seems a human at first glance, but it is bulkier, and seems to have sharp claws instead of hands. And it has a lot of hair. Its mouth looks more like a muzzle, with sharp teeth inside. On its back, a tail ending in a wicked-looking stinger completes the figure. With a flash of light, it materializes into what seems to be a smooth and clean aluminum surface, diamond teeth (like the insides of the mouth) and a black fog emanating from the stinger.
As soon as it realizes that it, well, exists, it growls at you, producing a sound that is a mixture between broken glass and a scraping metallic noise.
It doesn't look friendly.

A sheet of steel shavings appears over you, in a radius centered around your current position, and fall to the ground (and over you). The mere contact with it seems to have repaired your torso. Yeahhhh!
You grab the rest of your stuff and try to carry it around. You seem to be overburdened, in fact, you are so overburdened that the GM has to create a tag for it.
[Overburdened]You, with all the various weapons and things you have over yourself, go up the staircase. Eventually you end up in a tunnel quite similar to the one you used to get into this place, and then you keep going until you find the initial chamber. The Guide asks you to leave, just as a door on the floor opens, and you find yourself at the top of the stairs to the Challenge Mode, which is the Center of the Grand Room.
Down there, there is a huge missing piece of the floor and a diamond hippopotamus with almost no limbs, which looks pretty pissed.
Oddly enough, you don't
feel it, or rather, you feel an emptiness in it, just with every living being you can sense. With an exception. It is currently inside the Magma Room, and you feel that its power is the only dense enough to increase your own.
Unless you decide to take on the optional bosses of the rooms. It's all up to you now.
