So I should only shoot them at soft things that they will nicely stick in, like flesh.  Gotcha.
Its not like they would be useful against something that can't bleed, anyway.

Psh.  Shoot locks off doors, sever electrical connections, jam a door open- the possibilities are endless!

Turn 048

You done fucked up, boy.

LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN BRING IN THE RING! OOOOOH YEAH!

[Mako dex:6+1-1=6]
[Derm dex:2+1=3]

[Mako str:5+1=6]
[Derm str:1]

[Mako str:3+1=4]

Without even thinking about it, Mako rushes at Derm, reaching a height greater than that of his own chest, and swiftly grabbing Derm's face, which shortly thereafter was introduced with the floor with the help of two good friends: inertia and gravity. This caused a greater inconvenience in Derm, whose jaw is ended somewhat displaced, as well as some of his thoughts.

Derm now has:
[On ground]
[Dizziness]
-Head:
[Mauled]

This caused Mako to also get: [On ground]

Derm used this moment to at least try to get a part of his own plan working, he tried to whisper a spell:

[Derm pot:1+1-1-1=0]
But, no matter how much he watched the floor, nothing happened. Maybe because he only had just a little bit of magic mojo and only a part of the spell was pronounced.

Guess who has the upper hand here?

The wails with which some participants are already familiar begun their ominous crescendo. The thing came from the NE hallway, brandishing its scythe, as always. It flew around its prey, encircling the copper animal until it was so scared to even try to move. Golden particles begun to be absorbed by it, then, with a flash of light, gravity begun to affect it, the entity using that as a means to surprise its prey, dropping over it, at the same time it let go one of its gauntlets and its scythe. The animal was grabbed by the back of its neck, which soon begun to be invaded by black tentacles that seemed like canals from which the entity transmitted its shadowy energy, extending and ramifying across the copper body.. The legs of the animal soon couldn't handle the weight of its owner and thus the animal went from convulsing and emitting metallic screeches to just lie in the floor, moving slightly, with its last forces.

Do wizardy things.

Magic.

[Igor spd:5-1-1=3]
[Miol spd:3-1=2]

Igor realizes that maybe the Arcane room is dangerous. Yeah. Better to go to another place, specially now that the skull has totally opened and a shadow came out of that place. That place looks hot, wonder what may be there? Oh, there is a dude there, better greet him. With lightning:

[Igor pot:2-1=1]
[Igor end:6+2=8]
Lightning makes Igor feel itchy. Lightning funny.

Miol wonders why the hell did that guy wrapped in pillows just stand in front of him and decided to fry himself with lightning. Wait, no, not in the face!

[Igor dex:2-1-1=0]
[Miol dex:4]

Tripping:

[Miol str:2-1=1]
[Igor dex:3-1=2]

Igor's dumb movements allowed Miol to try to pull his leg and make him fall, but the guy proved to be too heavy.

Start ambling over to discern the nature of those violent sounds I can hear with my metaalien-ears. Laugh at the fight in my freakish alien voice when I get there. Find a nice comfy spot on the wall to lean on while spectating (and deciding my next move). And science-ing.
(GOTO Greenhouse_room. That'll probably take all the turn.)

Also SCI-ENCE SCI-ENCE MAN (dun dun)! I WANNA BE, A SCI-ENCE MAN.

((Also, WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP SAYING THE WORDS THAT SPECIFICALLY MAKE ME GLOW! *arglebargle*))
((Also, when is Derm going to use that spear? It has 2 turns left. It saddens me somehow.))

You are tired of glowing, so you head to the Greenhouse room. Wait, those are wails, right? Better to stay here at the Grand Room. That entity scared the shit out of, well, everyone. But, on the other hand, now you have an idea!

[Pot:3+1=4]
You get a somewhat smooth piece of obsidian, which falls to the ground and explodes in a pile of that purplish fog that you hate so much.

"Uh, thanks dude!  I can dig it."

Head that way too and stuff.

You are a little bit far from the alien guy, just for good measure, just to notice that it is now engulfed in a weird purple mist. Yeah, that was a good measure indeed. Well, at least you can do science:

[Pot:2-1=1]
Again, something happened. You are getting as much information as that.

Lets try some WORDS.
He, why everybody is leaving? Wait. Yeah, leave, you freaks!

Now you are alone with the guy whose foot is now light. This means uninterrupted science:

[Pot:6+1=7]
A swarm of thoughts engulf your mind. You suddenly feel a desire to stalk an unaware prey, just to ambush it and fixate your fangs on its neck, using your claws if it would be necessary.

That was somewhat weird, but you are already used to the weirdness.

[Pot:2+1=3]
You can almost feel like if nothing arranged itself in something held tightly together, but you can't tell out its shape.

[Pot:2+1=3]
Your left foot emits a glow for a brief time. Huh.

Time to test things, be they words or objects

You poke the light. It dissipates in the poked place, but you feel an intense heat in your finger. Realizing how you can't really bleed to death due to the light vanishing, you stand up. Upon making contact with the floor, the rest of the light also dissipates, with some of the energy making your leg feel a little bit warmer for a couple seconds. Now the curiosity invades you, and you drop again to the floor to see how does your stump look like, finding that the magic has cauterized it seamlessly, the pinkish tone of skin staining the now round place where your foot used to be. At least magic cares about you when you fail. You stand up again and prepare to do science:

[Pot:5]
A golden line appears and draws a dog. How cute!

[Pot:1]
A golden line appears and twists itself into a tangled mess. Oops!

[Pot:5]
Some bones appear and scatter to the ground.

[Pot:5]
Another golden line appears, this time drawing a hammer with a long handle. Yeah, that's not a hammer, it is a warhammer!

[Pot:3]
A golden line appears and forms a spiral. You are sure that you messes up with this one, but at least not so hard like the knot from before.

[Pot:5]
Nothing happens! This is truly the most exiting thing- Yeah, let's not exaggerate with the sarcasm.

It's my superpower.

He didn't. He slammed your head into the ground.
It's also worth noting the rather large roll differences. And a successful head attack. And noting that you only gained the [mauled] state, you'd be KO if you were flesh methinks. There is no such thing as invincible in Perplexicon... barring maybe Igor the Invincible over there, we're yet to see how that works out!

Do you believe in Magic?

In a young Magi's heart?

How the stabbings will free her

Whenever they start?

It's MAAAAAGIC!

if the chances are groovy,

It makes you feel power like an old poison doozy

I'll tell ya about the magic

 It'll free your soul

but it's like trying to tell a murder, from a suisooo(i)oode~

If you believe in magic, don't bother to choose

If it's lightning or fire, or, swords and spooooons~

 Just make some science~

It'll start with a saying

It will wipe out their life no matter how hard they try

 Your feet start choppin

And you can't seem to find

 How it's not there

 So just, blow your mind~

If you believe in magic

 Come along with me

We'll kill until morning, just you and me

and maybe, if the Chances is right

 I'll meet ya next turn

our words so briiiight~

We'll go a fightan' baby then you'll see

all the magic's in the soul and the souls are in me, yeah

Do you belive in magic? Yeah.

Believe in the magic in a young magi's soul

believe in the magic of fire and cold

Believe in the magic that can set me free

 Ohhhh, talkin' bout magic

Do you believe like I believe?

 Do you believe in magic?

Ominous laughter as the music fades out
