I said Science.

(Firefox is apparently going to crash every time I send a pm. Please inform me if they fail to arrive and I will attempt to rectify it and/or just continue to shout at my monitor.)
It arrived, but I'm uncertain on what do you mean by a certain expresion you used regarding one of the words. Nothing important, though.

Turn 037

Tealtael, tellthel skizicks.

The shade, seemingly having lost interest, goes to the NE hallway to practice more magic.

[Pot:6+1=7]
[Dex:3+2=5]

A huge glob of acid appears in front of the shade and falls to the floor, splattering acid all around, even into the legs of the shade itself. No scream was heard, but a darkish red fluid was seen after some drops of acid dissolved whatever matter the shade is made of. The rest of the acid dissolved the floor into a wide crater.

Gained in both legs: [Minor burns][Bleeding I]

Science!

Hmm, maybe there is meaning in all this, or maybe not at all. Hmmmm again. Well, you will ahve to keep doing science:

[Pot:5+1=6]
Nothing happens. Maybe it has to do with the word itself?

[Pot:6+1=7]
A thick golden line appears and begins drawing a big element, made from five loosely pyramidal irregular appendages coming from the center of the body. Yeah, that's a starfish, but a hell of a one.

[Pot:2+1=3]
Some sand appears and falls to the ground.

Well, that was disappointing.

Someone is coming, a black and emaciated humanoid, with his hair made from plastic cables or so it seems. He seems to be wanting to do magic:

NEW TURN.

You arrive to the portal room to see that the trio is not here any more, the portal has returned to its usual blue and purplish tones, and there is a guy here near a big pile of dirt. Yeah, a newcomer. Anyway, you have science to do, now that the paralysis has subsided.

[Pot:3+1=4]
A golden line appears and draws a shark.

[Pot:2+1=3]
Nothing happens.

[Pot:5+1=6]
[Bigf01t Str:5-1=4]
[Zolond str:4-1=]

You barely manage to stand your ground as a translucent black substance appears in front of you, pulling everything near it. The substance seems to be slowly receding in size, but the force of suction is so hard that you have to let loose your morningstar at the last moment. It is immediately sucked into it, but it seems that a part of the handle survived. The guy that was here was pulled pretty close to yo and now looks you with a "What the fuck do you think you are doing?" expression.

Diamond morningstar lost!

Look around and WORDS

Let's see, we have a bunch of glass tubes arranged like spider legs that seem to be sucking magma from the trench at the borders of the room. You certainly wouldn't want to fall into those pits. The magma is being sucked into the roof through a master tube to which every other one in turn deposit their molten bounty. Yeah, you certainly don't want to fall into the magma filled trench. You don't even know how deep it is, in fact. There are two hallways coming from this room.

Well, now you guess that you could try to read these papers:

[Pot:4+1=5]
A golden line appears and begins to draw something. It is a perfectly deadly knife. Unfortunately, as you try to grab it, you hand goes through it, and the line eventually disappears.

[Pot:5]
Yet another golden line appears, this time drawing a cow. It doesn't move, and disappears much like the other.

You are halfway through knowing how to murder someone. Nice.

Point to pot!

Time to get my regen on. Focus pot.

Would you like it to go around the lines of DBZ power charging or some sort of meditation crap? Choose whichever you like

Stuff.

Oh, well, lets do science here, by the two bodies.

[Pot:4]
A golden line appears and begins to rapidly rotate around a point in space, forming a sphere, but for some reason it is not as definite as you would have expected to be.

Quote from: EP
PM

When there is nothing to do, better do science. Or kill people. There aren't many things to do in this game.

[Pot:4+2=6]
A thick golden line appears and draws a pretty big (but seemingly powerful) crossbow.

[Pot:1+2=3]
A golden line appears and shapes itself into a curve. Hmm.

[Pot:2+2=4]
A chunk of copper appears in front of you and falls to the floor.

The floor opens below Cromwell and he falls inside the new hole, which closes as he enters. Bones being crushed, and some screams, are the only thing that it is heard for a couple seconds. Cromwell has died.

Takua the Chronicler appears in the Grand Room. [Insert flavour phrase here]

That was supposed to be one spell! That's why the spell was one "sentence". Can I take the second roll?

Action will be posted once I learn if and how Tomcost re-analyzes my turn.

Change to previous turn:

As I misinterpreted a turn, GWG's turn will instead be as follows:

[Pot:4]
A golden line appears and begins to rapidly rotate around a point in space, forming a sphere, but for some reason it is not as definite as you would have expected to be.

Turn 038

PUBLIC ANOUNCMENT
So, what I'm gonna do right now is be a Science Machine, basically. I'l just experiment with words and such to make things for you, and you leave me alone in exchange. Capiche?
Words, in that order:
G-101 Anamnteibu
Y-349 Umerata
A-205 Cumlintede
Quopeenis Amen Pepeon Terisli
Y-514 Ritutuan

Takua begins to shout words, so that all the arena can hear them!

[Pot:4]
A golden line appears and draws a seal, how cute.

[Pot:5]
Another golden line, this time drawing a monkey.

[Pot:6]
Your torso begins to emit a golden glow for some time, but then it fades, like if it hadn't been given anything to do.

[Pot:3]
Nothing happens, but then you realize that actually, a golden line has appeared over your head. It is drawing something with four legs and two pairs of...things. Yeah, things. You better learn how to draw magically.

[Pot:4]
And yet another golden line appears, but this time it perfectly draws some vicious-looking fangs.

Well, you guess that nobody will kill you for this, right?

Armamentalize!

Snip

Derm got an idea: yes, he wants to make a weapon of fear and destruction! Yes! So he prepares to cast say some words:

[Pot:1+1=2]
Something tries to happen, but finally, it doesn't. It produced some creepy wails, and somehow it involved a golden line, but for some reason it didn't last much. Likely because you screwed it up.

Oh, well, there is always old-fashioned science:

[Pot:2+1=3]
A golden line appears and forms something like a prism, but with more lines in its perimeter, each of those parallel to the lines forming the longer sides of said prism.

Well, time for the Dragon Knight to do stuff:

[Pot:4]
You get a gas, that slowly descends to the floor. How do you see the gas? Because it is beige, and somehow you can discern it from the grey stone. It just stays there, the form that it has could be something like a cylinder? You don't know. Its limits are not really very easy to spot.

Then , when you were both not doing anything of importance, Derm's metal foot begun to be the receptacle of a lot of tiny golden particles that appeared out of nowhere, and that created the magical golden glow that everybody is familiar with by his time. A flash of light ensued, and now, Derm's inert iron foot, was again an axe. The amount of curses that came out of the mouth of our footless friend just can't be counted.

Back to old stats.

((GM internally giggles))

SNIP

Do not get killed.

[Zolond spd:1]
[Bigf01t spd:4-1+1=4]

Before Zolond could react, Bigf01t came near him, with the intent of casting a spell right in his face:

[Bigf01t pot:2+1=3]
[Zolond dex:2]

A tiny cloud of a purplish substance appeared in front of Zolond, and he couldn't help but to inhale a little bit before his reflexes kicked in. He immediately begun to cough. Bigf01t, on hte other hand, not needing to breathe, was fine.

Zolond gaines: [Coughing]

But now Bigf01t has dropped the handle and is charging him!

[Bigf01t dex:6+1=7]
[Zolond dex:2-1=1]

[Bigf01t str:6-1+2=7]
[Hidden targeting roll:1] (for Zolond)

And the surprise of the strike didn't really gave the monochromatic Zolond the possibility to react, and thus the alien humanoid was free to bring his claws on him! In a mad feat of both savagery and coordination, the claws slashed back and forth, tearing a big hole in Zolond's neck. Blood begun to spurt out of it at an alarming speed.

[Heavy bleeding 3/3]
((Doesn't count for this turn))

And then Zolond realized that besides scared, he was angry:
I don't wanna die! You will pay bastard!

[Zolond pot:2+1=3]
[Zolond dex:6]
[Bigf01t dex:3+1+1=5]

And some sand came out of Zolond expertly aimed hand. Bigf01t, knowing that a finger pointed at him means danger, instinctively dodged, but after seeing that the spell was actually sand, and there was few of it, he stood still and was hit by part of the sand, that only managed to bounce from his odd flesh.

((That involved horrendous amounts of luck))

Hmmm DP I will join in the protection racket you have going on

Words
Well, lets keep saying words until you realize how to finally kill people:

[Pot:6]
A pile of dirt appears in front of you. Meh, not pointy enough. You could shove it through someone's throat, but it is actually easier to just choke them with your hands.

[Pot:5+1=6]
A thick golden line appears and draws out of itself a pyramid the size of yourself. Hmmm, not pointy enough to serve as a weapon, though.

Hrm.

Zeusha skizicks.

DP, I pledge allegiance to you as Thrancaole, The Dark Knight.  If you need assistance in any matters of brutality, I would be happy to assist you.

Quote from: EP
PM

[Thrancaole spd:1-1-1=-1]  ((This was only for initiative purposes, but you both are terribly slow))
[Flimsy spd:2-1-1=0]

Something has caught the eye of the shadow (well, if there are any kind of light sensitive organs behind the mask of darkness anyway). There seems to be a wizard there made from metal, trying to cast a spell:

[Flimsy pot:3+2=5]
A chunk of glass appears and falls to the floor, some of it cracking and leaving little glass needles around, but not really useful for anything other than injuring your own feet.

The shadow comes closer, the Wizard seemingly not having noticed it. It awaits its turn to strike.

[Flimsy pot:2+2=4]
A golden line appears and forms a pair of horns in front of you before disappearing.

And now the shadow rushes to The Flimsy Wizard, with the intent of unleashing a spell:

[Thrancaole pot:4+1=5]
[Thrancaole dex:5+1=6]
[Flimsy dex:4-2=2] ((You rolled badly on your leg))

A glob of acid appears almost above the Wizard, who doesn't manage to evade it completely, while the shade, having perfectly panned this, managed to get out of reach of its own spell. The acid quickly begins to dissolve some of the already badly beaten Wizard's metal chest, and causing some minor burns on the Wizard's face (on the sides of it, as he managed to move his head so that the acid didn't actually splatter on his face).

Flimsy Wizard's chest is now: [Heavily mauled]
He also has some minor burns on his head.

The Wizard looks at himself: the burns have eaten further into his chest, the previously mangled portions now have grown weaker and more fragile. The acid has helped into the destruction of his torso, that now sports some little channels, marks of the flow of the acid, and whose dents are now deeper. It is clear that not only it won't survive more hits, but that special caution has to be taken so that the weight of the Wizards body doesn't finish the job of his assailant.
