Speak words, stay away from the bear.

EDIT: Anyone care to trade words?

Turn 011

Exit stage right, slipping past the bear.
To be clear: Going back to the portal room.

Use Word on Derm

Thrakor looks at the effects.  "That's weird."

Magical plan gamma!

Speak words, stay away from the bear.

EDIT: Anyone care to trade words?

[Eric spd:5]
[Thrakor spd:1+1=2]
[Dk spd:4]
[Bear spd:5-1=4]

The fire bear turns its attention to the diamond pig. It seems that it is hungry, despite the fact that it chose the wrong carbon based life form to eat. He is not going to get any kind of fuel from that.

Meanwhile, Eric does his magic:

[Pot:6]
A golden line appears and forms a huge shark in front of you. The sharks tries to bite you, but it goes through you, and at the same time the front of its face just shatters, producing little chunks made from more golden lines. It then fades away.

[Pot:5]
A bunch of air near the palm of your hand begins to glow with a golden glimmer, but it then fades away.

The Dragon Knight decides to go to the Portal room.

Thrakor, on the other hand, has a plan in his mind. A devious plan.

[Thrakor pot:2+1=3]
[Thrakor dex:4]
[Eric dex:5]

He points at Eric, and a little bit of obsidian comes out of his hand. Eric just moves away from that flying chunk of obsidian and looks at Thrakor.

PM sent.

[Pot:4+1=5]
Bit of nothing begin to pour outside of the floor in a radius around you.

"Oh funk yes, I love science!"

MOAR SCIENCEZ!

Oh god what

Yepyep.

[Derm spd:4-2=2]
[Zentol spd:4-1=3]
[Flimsy spd:3-1=2]
[Bigf01t spd:6-1=5]

Bigf01t rushes into the fight and tries to get revenge on the eldritch psychopath:

[Bigf01t pot:4+1=5]
[Bigf01t dex:6]
[Zentol dex:2+3=5] ((Oh, god, you hit him.))

A sizable amount of magma comes out of Bigf01t's hand. The stream manages to hit Zentol's burned arm as he jumped backwards to avoid it. As a result, the arm is now even more burned.

Mandatory balance roll for Zentol:

[Dex:2] ((But his modifiers are enough to save him))

[Heavy burned]

((This is a better explanation of the "heavy" status of a wound, but all are the same.))

The amount of magma currently on the bridge is actually blocking the way to the other rooms. It is slowly falling and cooling but it will take time. A brave person could attempt to jump it, though.

The Dragon Knight, who was arriving by this time, finds himself on Zentol's side of the bridge.

It is uncomfortable to even look at that man, imagine having to wait by him.

Bigf01t then tries to help poor Derm from falling into the endless abyss.

[Bigf01t str:3-1=2]
[Derm str:6] ((No need for pool burning))

But Derm can do it on its own, actually. Bigf01t just stands there with a worried face as Derm quickly climbs the bridge.

But the fight hasn't ended yet, as The flimsy Wizard tries to harm Zentol too. He stares at him, and he notices that he should evade that stare:

[Flimsy pot:4+2=6]
[Flimsy dex:2-1=1]
[Zentol dex:4] ((Plus everything))

But he just ends up looking anywhere, Zentol doesn't even needs to move much, a he just feinted a movement and stayed in place, while The Flimsy Wizard was easily cheated and followed the momentum and ended up looking far to the right. The air there begun to emit a golden glimmer and then moved quickly even more to the right. Hmm.

Meanwhile, on the Portal Room, a semitransparent cube with a thin octariney beam in its interior begins to float to the cooled magma. Two opposing faces of the cube rotate in opposing directions, and then the cube opens to the sides of said faces. It then proceeds to float low to the ground, until the semi-transparent matter begins to slowly go up so that it doesn't enter in contact with the floor. Some dust enters movement as the octariney beam goes through the cooled magma, in the exact place it touches the rock floor. Soon the magma has been separated from the floor, but the octariney beam has lost some of its color in the process. Then, the room is invaded by an army of inverted pyramids, composed by a substance much like the ones seen in the cube. They are filled with another translucent substance, but this time it is dark in color. They proceed to open themselves and suck away everything in the room.

"Okay, I am now PISSED THE FUCK OFF."

Focus Dex. (So I can use it in the turn after next.)

((Turn later, for now I just want to ask why didn't I get an attack?))
Because you are on the other side of the magma-covered part of the bridge. You have to either jump it or wait until it cools down. It requires an action, even if you are likely going to succeed. In the strange case in which you had really bad luck and I had taken that decision for you, you would be complaining about that.

Are we allowed to focus pool?

Also, am I considered in combat just because I'm in the same room as the bear?

You were attacked by Thrakor. You can't focus pool, as it is a fixed stat.

Stuff that I didn't mention in the turn

-Flimsy's pain is gone.
-The flames of the fire bridge are blue and barely visible.
-The bear's flames are now blue.

I recall someone saying earlier that when I start, I should be aware of the public word list, or something like that, or the words that everyone knows. My only question is, since everyone PM's their words, how does one know anything? :?
