I'd like to roll a charisma check, tomcost.

[Char:4]
Bigf01t says that he will agree to attack the Doomknight if everyone does so.

Jokes aside, I may be able to post a turn today.

EDIT: Bigf00t didn't send an action. Dammit.

EDIT2: EP didn't either.

Well, since Derm's seducto-roll didn't pan out:

SCIENCE!

((Also didn't clarify if you wanted me to make anything, btw. This will make a weapon tho.))

I literally told you I wanted a crossbow.

And I literally told you that I can't make bolts. And you told me neither can you.

So I figured we were a no-go on the crossbow with no ammo. And as far as the impromptu option went you just asked me what the word for steel was.

(EDIT:  Understandable not quite clarifying the impromptu option as you did get a little distracted trying to get Toaster to join the war effort :P)

Well I need something capable of firing ranged projectiles, and a lot of ranged projectiles.

Also I don't actually think there's a functional difference between Iron and Steel.

Hmm, I'd assume that perhaps that the steel might have a somewhat higher tensile strength or be slightly less malleable. As far as direct game impact when steel is not directly competing against steel I have to agree with you. Might come into effect when versing hard targets tho. Iron arrows VS steel armor, rather than the other way around, that kind of thing. But yea, as a bow material unlikely to matter too much.

Do you have the word for bow already? Also when is this "Alpha Strike" going down, and what is the progress on % of the arena joining in?
If we're waiting at least another turn I'll do the science now, testing two effect words, one of them might be useful for the bow or arrows.

If you're going on to attack next turn then I'll spit out the kit now, but I would prefer to science this turn.

I don't have bow, just crossbow. Not a lot of experimenting in the yellow section.

Anyway I've just talked to you and sorta to toaster. I'm thinking that we strike when Beirus starts to fail. I'll send a mass PM I guess, RP takes too long.

For simplicity's sake, the word for arrows can create bolts if it is the caster's intention.

Also I don't actually think there's a functional difference between Iron and Steel.
Steel is a marginally more resistant material.

...
Do you know how many turns I spent digging through the yellows looking for bolts?!
I just assumed this was like each prior Perplexicon game to date, and I wondered if you could twist this word with intention, but never tried it... ::)
Oh dear, at least we know now :P

Right, if we're (presuming) all striking when Berius hits some trouble, that'll be good. Might have a rough idea what Doomknight can do.
I'll keep my science for this turn, should also make a steel spear with a random effect. Providing I haven't mistaken spear for something else.
Might uncover a nice word for your new crossbow.
I think I'll make one myself.

So, any special requests for this 5 word crossbow? ;D

It should, preferably, not work off strength. If it can fire multiple bolts at once, make it so.

The arrows should be able to shrapnel themselves, and also be filled with acid, order/heavenly aligned if possible.

Also... I don't have 4 pool? Thought I put my point there.

So perhaps it's less a word for arrow and more a word for ammo?

I understand that now :P

EDIT: Hmm, for the crossbow, how does this sound?:
"Light Steel Crossbow Many Ammo"

EDIT2: I COULD make it "order" aligned, but then you'll have to roll for Will every time you touch the damn thing. If you REALLY want that I can, but I doubt it'll give any "order" bonuses against the Doomknight. His styling seems to be just that, styling.

Okay, Derm's point in pool is now in there, Dorsidwarf's missing word has been edited inot the turn, and I will begin to work on the next turn right now. If you want to change something, say it now...

Also, (I exceeded the PM's per hour limit) NEVER POST WORDS IN THE THREAD. PM's words only.

That means alter the bold, Endless.
