I don't actually recall anyone actually using them aside from that one time someone transformed into both Heaven and Hell or whatever, and the two sides tore each other apart and killed him.

That was Bob, Piecewise's avatar in Toaster's game.

Both sheep ignored you until one of them was dead, then they attacked.


I also recall some people getting under the effects of the forces, so you are not lacking the means to acquire the knowledge.

Thrakor eyeballed the two weird... people? discussing this Doom Knight fellow.  "Seems like you'd be better off having them just kill each other.  Less to worry about and keeps things simpler!"

"So your brilliant plan is to throw yourselves at them and let them kill us?  If they won't attack anyone under a certain power level, why don't we just throw that guy off a bridge and sit around building Space Lasers! and handing them out until we're all ultra powerful?"

"No, my plan is to prepare for a few turns with everyone in the arena and then make what I like to call an alpha strike. Basically an overwhelming show of force to kill him before he can react. Crossbows full of acid, pits of magma, giant spheres of Vacuum, and yes an arcane laser or two."

If we just do nothing but prepare for hours and hours then they'll take notice, and then they'll already know what we are going to do! "I am not. He cannot observe us while he is fighting Beirus. This is the window of opportunity."

"You keep saying 'they' though.  Are you not saying there are more of them, outside this place, watching us?  Surely they can tip off the guy here."

I'd rather take the odds that they don't have it and we can win, rather than the 100% lose chance if they do."

"Problem with your "prep = death" angle. So it's ok to hurried throw ourselves into battle, with no real prep time. That is "a good plan". But prep and ALL WILL FALL INTO RUIN! THEY WILL NULLIFY EVERYTHING!
No they won't. This assumes that somehow, by knowing all of the words you can actually protect yourself from all and any attack. We should know as sure as anyone this isn't really possible. YES they could counter us if we all prepared by making the exact same weapon, like if we ALL made necro-soul-eating weapons they could just turn silver. But I don't call that prep. Proper preparation gives you a couple of angles to attack from, that's why my fight with Mako went so badly, I had retractable claws, but I couldn't use them because if I took off my silver gloves he might have been able to use my soul-mace. I only had one option, which was ineffective as Mako kept disarming me. I didn't really think about that."

"Next: WHY HAS NO-ONE CONSIDERED, WHOEVER GETS HIS 20 FREAKING SOULS MAY JUST ATTRACT THE NEXT BAD-ASS? WHO WILL BE EVEN MORE POWERFUL would that not make matters worse for you, and everyone else, by the same reasons which you provide for hasting here? Let me guess, when this happens you'll call for us to band behind you again, in order to take on the next, immediately more dangerous threat, which lets face it if they detect their friend has died don't you think they'll be more careful and BOTH come? Do you have a valid plan for that?"

"Your team forced this issue by killing my former ally. (speaking not just to Derm here btw) Despite being very aware of what that would result in. I hope you will be able to forgive me, but this kind of overt recklessness followed by a plea for help with more reckless plan.. It's annoying. It seems you are letting all of your actions and planning be ruled by the one assumption that "if we do not take large risk to kill this guy, we will miraculously die, over and over until the end of time", it's just not reasonable."

"If the "big-bad-3" were going to kill us for preparing, they would have started doing that by now. If a really long time goes by without death maybe they will step in, but they want us to kill each other so that we may reach a reap-able quantity of souls. Any consideration of any time either of these three have talked to, or even looked at an under-souled person they have treated them as no threat, weak and insignificant. As so long as they have no reason to believe we are a threat, or that we have stopped murdering each other, or preparing to murder each other for power and fun there is no reason this should change. If they "magically detect" us to be of too great of a threat they could just not come until we are of less of a threat (likely due to infighting, lets face it)."

((Sorry guys for the wall-o-text! I tend to get this way whenever I feel like making/arguing a point. I like well reasoned, logical debate, and that tends to get wordy ))

((I more-or-less second this plan, but obviously with the minor adjustments brought up in my far too wordy wall of the words. WORDS FOR THE WORD-POST! Also throwing them off of the bridge would constitute murder, and then you would have the points, as morbid as it is, they'd have to jump by themselves, or jump into a black-hole or something. The real plan would be to immobilize/make-inert (but not kill) anyone trying to go over the point threshold until everyone is ready.))
