Got my own nano pretty recently, and playing as a support-y bot is pretty satisfying. The damned proto-seekers are infuriating, though; it might just be me, but I can't hit them with my smgs enough to take them down before they shred me. The only thing I can think of that will help is my own proto-seeker; I certainly have a lot more mass than those tiny little hoverbots, so in a shootout it should be me winning. It's just incredibly frustrating when half the enemy team consists of tiny little hovers.

Just had one of the most miserable Battle Arena games I have ever played.

I didn't use my nano a single time because more than half of my team were plasma bombers, and every single enemy was just streaming into our base without challenge.

Probably not much; proto-seekers require (despite what you might think) a steady hand on target, and the little drones move too fast to allow that. You're better off spamming blue railguns or bottom-tier SMGs.

Since the new cpu-based "matchmaking" i've been sticking around 800-1000 CPU levels.  Mostly too high to see many tiny smg/psk microbots, mostly too low to see silly legspam railers.

Gods damnit. My team camped the base without worrying about capturing points or attacking the enemy reactor. End of the game, their reactor had 100% hp left. One of my teammates was a railgun attached to a single block.

Blue railguns aren't an option for me right now (;P). I think the problem is more my aim than anything else, and the extra stopping power the Hornets have over Wasps is helping me a bit.

My heaviest 'bot right now is a mech with 670 CPU and I already see railgun poptarts, but they're not a huge deal. Hopefully once I rise a bit more I can get away from this hover silliness.

No, not quite those.  Tho those are always prevalent.  I'm talking about 5-7 mech legs with railguns directly attached, with aerorods to connect them all together.

Eh, I'm neutral.  At this point, I have most everything in the game, except for one of the modules and the mega movements.  Either way I'd have to save up massive amounts of stuff to get something actually new.

New newspaper post: Future actual tdm mode (not the current sudden death shenanigans) and possibly an earth map. Theres also a poll results post mentioning they'll focus on the winner (smarter weapons that don't fire if blocked by your own bot) of the poll for the next QoL thing. Whenever it gets done, at least.

Also, most things got a health buff, and rails/missiles got a damage buff to compensate. Shotgun non-close ranged attack nerf. Flak and shotgun got less of a health buff, which they described as an overall nerf. Lasers use slightly less energy. Non-mega Plasmas got a blast radius buff, all plasmas can shoot 25% more with the same energy. Strafing for legs option.

Prioritization. Having worked at a gaming company, there are usually a TON of stuff that they know are bugs or need improvement. Figuring out which ones to work on first can be difficult, so asking the players what they want most isn't a bad approach.

Tried out the new Team Deathmatch mode. It's pretty garbage. 3/5 games I played ended up with 2 players leaving on one team or the other, leading to a seriously mismatched fight where one team stomped the other.

Also, you end up inadvertently spawn camping if you are winning, because you're chasing bots down to their area to kill them. Then they spawn again right near you, so you fight them.

It's really not much fun, winning or losing. The loot is good, but that's the only worthwhile thing about it.
