Honestly I'm not worried about it, I'll worry more depending on what they plan out the timing to be like. If its a very short plan I'd expect everything to be broken this time next year, otherwise it'll probably be like planetside: Really slow at making updates, but at least its getting somewhere faster than starbound is.

Chapter 7 has arrived! And while I'm not so sure abotu the big pile of phase 2 things, the first part sounds fairly small. The bold is mine.

Phase 1 – plan is to launch this before Xmas if we can
- Unity 5, use of multiple CPU cores for better performance along with optimised rendering and optimised physics
- Painting Cubes, with paint, fill, mirror and ‘pick’ tools working
- The first set of extra shapes (loads more to come in later phases)
- All game modes unlocked to all users, with an additional ‘BA Leagues’ button to playing Leagues becomes optional

Edit: Also not a fan of the nano changes idea. It feels like FJ is going to screw that up terribly somehow. The rest, we'll see how it goes.

Man, I tried to jump in some time ago but the game didin't recognize my account, as in it said it doesn't exist at all despite me entering the right username from the activation mail.
But it recognized my e-mail so I couldn't register again.

Did you try just using your email address instead for the name?

Yes. I tried to get back the password too, but then it just says my e-mail is not in the database. On the other hand, when I try to register again, it is. Weird.

there's a function to transfer your previous account to a steam account and the old launcher is deprecated now, did you try that?

To transfer I need to first log in IIRC, and it simply doesn't work.
And I don't even have the old launcher.

The New Update:

-free premium per day until new years
-Unity 5 is a thing
-all gamemodes available
-unlimited garage space
-paint stuff, 4 normal colors and 16 premium colors
---Premium time required to access the 16 colors, but painted bots won't be unpainted when time expires
-mothership/design area has windows again
-CRF changes

-Armor isn't tiered anymore
---All armor has t10 stats
-new armor shapes as well
-no more pilot seat
---Rip Cray 2014-2015
---Mega Seat is now a mega core, grants extra CPU but otherwise isn't vital to craft
-Crafts die once reduced to 25% CPU
-Crafts auto regen after a time of not getting shot at/shooting

-plasma and rail reload faster
-EP recharges faster
-Glass blocks have the same armor as normal cubes, now a premium cosmetic
-can't heal on kill in The Pit
-Hovers turn differently in reverse

Unlimited garage space is still in the future, they've got some backend stuff to finish first. The current limit is 25 garages unless you already have more.
