Alright. I've decided it's finally time to retire my SMG cruiser. RIP RemoveKebot 1.0, your legacy will live on.
My new design is very much a spiritual successor to RemoveKebot. Or a direct successor. I named it RemoveKebot 2.0, and it incorporates the same sort of design even if it looks different and is a tank rather than a cruiser.
Essentially, my design strats are unchanged. I'll list them here, because I've found they've enabled me to shrekt T1-3 players fairly consistently.
1. They don't flank, at all. So your can safely move your cockpit to the back of the bot.
2. Putting an armor skirt over your wheels/treads works wonders. I can't count the number of times I've won confrontations because I've stayed mobile while everyone else got crippled. You'll get stuck occasionally but it's worth it as a trade off.
3. Minimize your profile - try to make your bot as flat as possible. This means your low-tier electroplates can cover more of your front profile and it's harder to take off your guns.
4. 6 overtiered SMGs are all you need. Everyone's going around with 4 gorillion on-tier smgs, but you don't get a fire rate boost after you hit 6. Redundancy has its merits but saving on the CPU means more electroplate coverage.
So essentially keeping all these in mind, I'm now a sort of round, treadmilled pancake. It's bizarre but it works.
